Metallica V.S Megadeth

I saw Megadeth live on Monday and fuck were they killer!

 

metallica dominates megadeth any day of the week

 

Always like the guitar tandem of mustaine and friedman..esp early megadeth like peace sells,rust in peace

Mechanix just sounds way too fucking fast. And not the good kind of fast, it sounds like it was recorded at a slower pace and then they sped it up.

I'd still fight anyone if they said either of them sucked. :boxing_smiley:

Mechanix is a pretty... not good song. It sounds awkwardly fast to me.

 

Megadeth.

I listen to them more, Rust in Peace is my second favourite album.

And Justice for All is really the only Metallica album I listen too.

Plus I've seen Megadeth in concert like 5 times, Metallica the woosies havent been to oz in like forever, I suppose the long trip would wreak havoc on Hammetts complection

 

And twice on Sundays.

Megadeth - Lead by a poser christian. Wont even share the stage with any antichristian bands. So metal of him to stand up for christianity

Metallica - Proved that money is more important to them rather than the music

Anthrax - no comment really

Slayer- Legends. And also despise Dave mustaine and Metallica


These bands are too easy on the ears imo. Slayers alright though. Everything else is lame and I would call more hard rock than metal

 

It's not only about what those bands have become, Pat, but also about what they were. I can't disagree with your opinion on these bands in today's state. Old Metallica and Megadeth is most of all metal for sure, it's not even an opinion.

 

Dave Mustaine is a dick. I agree, but he's a SICK guitarist.

Metallica did do that yes, but everyone knows that. Their first 4 albums are the only real Metallica. And if you don't like those that's okay, but thats what Metallica were supposed to be. Not this "enter sandman" bullshit.

And Slayer are sick, they don't despise Metallica though man. They've called 'em a sinking ship and shit but I've seen plenty of interviews were Kerry King has said that they were great guys. They just don't like them now (like everyone else)

But Slayer have to be the "fakest" out of all of them though even though I love them. They try to act so hardcore but they just look old and tired.
