However some genres are generally less interesting to someone then other, it is a matter of personal taste. Good music can be found in any genre, it just have to appeal to you I guess. Generally I prefer rock 'n roll, but some metal can be good too. No nu, industrial or death metal for me though (generally )

I hate both of them, but perhaps that is because I have to put up with to our son playing his drums (he plays in a metal band) while I am trying to listen to an opera. LOL.

 

Like the OP I love all genres between these too it's a tie.

I like metal, death metal, black metal, folk metal, country, alt. Rap, classical, instrumental, ambient.

 

What is the difference between death metal and black metal? I don't get these different variations of metal.
