I love NU-Metal. KoRn!
But Limp Bizkit for example sucks so bad.

 

yea nu metal sucks man. especially korn

 

is rage against the machine nu metal? just trying to understand.....cuz i loooove them.

i dont know the sub genre of metal i listen to but its mostly things along the lines of Despised Icon, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, Born of Osiris and Suicide Silence.

 

Im going to a suicide silence concert this upcoming wednesday.. WOOP.

 

Seth you have good taste in music =]. But nu metal isn't all bad mostly bad but not all. Mushroomhead's new stuff I'd consider nu metal, and it's good. Slipknot would be considered nu metal and their old stuff is good. New Slipknot blows dick though =\.

And there is such thing as christian metal. You can't tell they're christian but still. AILD is like one of my fav bands of all time next to Zeppelin. And they're christian. underOATH is christian too, right? They're good.

 

Wait is Ill Nino or Static X considered Nu Metal, They're pretty bad ass.

 

The idea of christian metal is an oxymoron. Other lame shit is anything that ends with "core" in the genre ie metalcore, deathcore. Metal should be pure and not blended with hardcore. Nu-metal really has nothing to do with metal. They just share metal in the name.

I am unsure about Cradle of Filth.
In my younger days I enjoyed it quite a bit. Then Thornography came out and destroyed my likings for the band. However their cover of Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden was quite tasty.

I can play it on the g-tar.... then again it really isn't that hard. So I got nothing to brag about
