I can't honestly believe that a jewish person in a predominately christian place would be bothered by being told "merry christmas". It must happen several times a day.
lol I'm guessing you're talking about zodiac leos. I'm referring to Law Enforcement Officers. Dirty bastards.
They WANT you to feel like that...figure out a way to not feel like that and it will piss them off when they have less power I wouldnt want a hug either..unless it was a hot chick cop :afro:
Works for me..... But I'm less discerning than other people here anyway, While I would probably be irate and cold in my compliance as usual, if they wanted to give me an escort, hug, and good tidings... FUCK yeah:sunny:
I saw an old news clip about a police department in a U.S. city that had a ritual of looking for someone on the road who was driving responsibly and then pulling them over. They would give them a commendation for good driving, a tour of the town, and a free dinner. They probably did it once a year as a custom. In the video they stopped a car with parents and their two kids. I don't remember what city it was. Kinda different way of doing something for a police department. .
How about this one: http://internationalday.blogspot.com/2007/05/may-24-international-hug-cop-day.html .
Yeah. Early in schooling everyone should be taught some basic skills in how to defend oneself from the police and other authorities. It's unfortunate that most people go through about 12 years of formal education training them blind obedience to authority. After that much socialization, some people feel a sense of guilt if they don't voluntarily do everything that the police request of them. Others fear the intimidation tactics used by the police. People voluntarily and unnecessarily put themselves at risk of implicating themselves in crimes by talking to the police when they didn't have to. .

i'm sure some would. some people enjoy being offended so much they'll make up any reason to feel that way. if i see someone following all traffic laws, i assume they're drunk.
I had a good friend once, he was Jewish, I used to teach his kid guitar lessons. One year I asked him what he was doing for Christmas, completely not thinking as I asked everyone that. He just smiled and said, "Not much, hanging out with the family." I can't really see why a Jewish person would take offense to that. If they don't believe in Jesus, what's the problem?
