that is correct, at least i ate lightly toasted garlic in olive oil but I think it was cause I was suppose a little burnt piece that was charcoal like mixed with chopped parsley. So it seems like my wife did indeed get the flu, as she developed a fever yesterday.

Now I'm feeling like shit this morning too... and my temperature is rising, but not quite a fever yet.

 

It's best not to treat fever until it's over 101F.

Your body needs that fever to fight the invaders.

 

so many people don't know that. especially people with kids. there have been a few fevers that have had me worried, and obviously we get to a doctor quick if i cant get it brought down in an appropriate amount of time, but people freak out before a kid hits 100. i tend to run below temp naturally (97.7 if im not sick) so i know im moving into fever range at 99, but theres a reason for fever.

im glad i have an immune system that functions decently

 

according to the mayo clinic, you should only start treating a fever with medication if it rises higher than 38.9C (~102F).

i've avoided a fever so far, but have a bunch of other flu-like symptoms. I'm too lazy to cook so I'm going to order a pizza and eat some weed to get my appetite up.

took a shower today and used up all the hotwater in the tank... felt so good.

 

it snowed a bunch here today, but wasn't overly cold or windy, so that was nice.

 

You need a bigger water heater... My new one is 80 gallons, can't possibly use that much.

I was not the only one to se water this morning and my shower was around 15 minutes...

 

I can easily run the shower for 1/2 hour if I wanted to... or longer. I've got more things to do than stand under some hot water.

 

well when you outside for multiple hours working I love taking the time when I can do shower like that
