Usually in my experience they pick one side and try to conform to an ideal of same - either being queen Britney Spears you go girl or ultramasculine I get my way power tripping jerk.

Yeah, women pull that shit just as much as men do. There are guys who fit the OP's description to a T though, like my last boyfriend, and that's exactly why I broke up with him :S However, my first bf wasn't anything like that so sometimes it's a very accurate description but for other people it isn't. It really fucking sucks when you run across a guy like that though, who changes so much on you and all for the worse.
