is that a christmas special movie? its always 'the sound of music' here on christmas day.or did u mean that king kong eats turkeys melons roasting on an open fire, jack frost nipping at the hawaii sun king kong would never have been a women - it just wouldn't work having arnold schwartsnegger tied up to a pole with a load of girls protecting him from a giant female ape (or would it?)..what about - The Godfather - starring,Meryl Streep - that actually could work - a soulful actress
I would say it's pre-existing in all humans, certain circumstances will bring it out, as they say power corrupts, men have the majority of power still
it's not all angry and I can't help if I'm full of angst, I'm a teenager, it's what we do ohh and thanks for the intriguing part
Its not just men, women are mean to. The human race in general it a very distructive thing. We are all indivduals and we can choose how we act. Maybe the fact that you see more men as agressive through out history is because women were oppersed. They weren't aloud to do much until...1920's or so.
actually, the right to have sex with females is the original cause* of male violence in most species of mammals. Alpha male impregnates the whole *insert word here..tribe herd gang** the strong reproduce. blame god.
some friends of mine compete in ufc, I heard yesterday that there starting a womans ufc. I was appalled, and remembered this thread. It's one thing for men to beat the shit out of each other for sport, but not woman, it just seems so WRONG!!
I think the overall thing is that men are, in general, responsible for war, rape, and violence. Although not ALL men are, and certainly SOME women are, when you look at the big picture--yes, men are the ones who rape, usually they are the ones who start big wars, and usually they are the ones that are killing people (watch america's most wanted or something). So, yes, there are violent females but i'd say that men do not EQUAL these things, as not all men are and even the ones that are don't completely equal that but I'd say that they are responsible for most of the evolution and survival of these things. BUT I have to say i love most guys I meet and that most of them are not going to harm you.
Elizabeth Bathory Queen Elizabeth I Cleopatra Marie Antoinette -- maybe not so much agressive as disinterested Some not so kind women of history.
And punched by one because i grabber her ass. So I punched the hell out of her boyfriend instead. So I guess the "war" part of your thread maybe correct.
War? Rape? Violence? I'll lay one out of three at men's door. We tend to be the ones committing all the rape, unless you count rape by instrumentation (I once knew a woman who, as a child, was raped by her own mother--if you call cramming things up her vagina while screaming "YOU LIKE THAT?! BABY LIKE THAT?!" rape). But leaving rape by instrumentation out of it, we men are the ones with the stiff probe growing out of our crotches. Women have only a soft, defenseless orifice down there. Yes, men do the raping. It's an unfairness of how we're built. That said, I'll hasten to add that I think "Rape is a crime of violence, not sex," is nothing more than a political slogan. Sometimes it's a crime of drunken stupidity, horniness, desperation, or simple miscommunication, no matter what the PC crowd would have you believe. But do I think you can blame war and violence exclusively on men? Get real. Some of the most bloodthirsty creatures I've ever known were female. On a bulletin board I used to frequent, there was a clutch of older women who tended to run in a pack, and they were some of the most unpleasant harpies I've ever encountered, online or off. When they weren't taking chunks out of each other, they were cheering over death sentences (Scott Peterson), calling for executions (Michael Schiavo), doing high-fives over the war in Iraq (except the token liberal among them, who was vicious in other ways), celebrating the War on Drugs (lock 'em up!), espousing "pro-life" legislation (throw away the key!), endorsing violence to keep illegal workers out of the U.S. (shoot 'em in the kneecaps!), and saying what a fine idea it is to build a wall along the entire U.S.-Mexican border. I shudder to think what would happen if any of those women ever achieved a position of power. No, I don't think men, by and large, are any more violent than women. We're simply built to exploit it better. But an armed woman (Lorena Bobbitt), or a woman up against smaller, weaker things (Susan Smith), can be a scary monster indeed.
In my opinion men are more agressive due to an inherent biological factor - more testosterone.. so accept it boys and tame ur naughty selves!
I answered no. I think it is completely stereotypical to place the blame on men. I know plenty of women who are ten times more agressive than men are, especially when on their rag, lol. I feel that, one of the main factors men are often blamed for violence and rape is simply BECAUSE of this common stereotype, when a woman does committ a crime like that, no one usually believes it, or writes it off as something else. I think we are all pretty much equal when it comes to things like this, really.
I don't know about this, I've seen one too many cat fights in high school to ever agree with this. When the police came to our school for fights, it was usually between two girls. I remember being threatened by plenty of girls in my school because some guy they liked, liked me, or something else really petty. I also distinctly remember coming to school one day, and the cops were crowded in the courtyard. There was a spilled coffee in between two cops across from each other who were each holding back a girl, and both were kicking and shouting at each other.
