i dont' know what we'd do exactly the same as men...there ARE differences in behavior brought about by differences in biology...but we women can be evil, no doubt whatsoever.

 

i just wanted to say that i think the poster that said people with low intelligence are interested in boxing made me sad. i personally box and i do it as NOT to turn my aggression else where and because its good for your body and fun...

anyways...

people are aggressive but men are more prone to violence then females because their hormones AND conditioning.... women typically!- deal with aggression in different ways (but not always).....

 

i've witnessed some bad ass cat fights too.and i've been kinda raped by a woman .kinda because she didn't used force,she got me in a drunken stupor,and got on top.so i wasn't willing,but neighter unwilling,just wondered why is the world spinning.my genes ain't that good,but she was 240 pounds (120 kg) and had a couple of issues about that.

you can be macho without kicking everybody's ass.you can dance with a girl in such a way that she looses her mind,you can show strenght and confidence by your gestures,you can dominate others without touching them.i guess these count as macho.also i think making a hostile dude go back confused and convinced that he shouldn't mess with you and yours is much more "elegant" than brawling.

violence as a mean of solving problems is stupid,but sometimes unavoidable.i personally control my aggresive impulses,but i am violent if someone hurts me or the people i care about.i have a bat with "flower power" written on it.being friendly and letting everybody do their thing gives me the right to retaliate if someone doesn't let me do mine.

i think rapists should be tortured and left with lifelasting mental scars.i know three girls who've been raped and still have some major issues.one thing i like about my country is that rapists commit suicide or get killed after 6 months in jail.

war is a consequence of aggresive politics,regardless of the sex of those in charge.

I agree, I think we are too closely packed and it is making us all crazy. I do think that men are mostly responsible for the whole rape thing though since even men who get raped are usually raped by other men. I wouldn't say that men are to blame for everything though, that would be unfair.

No, it's not our fault. I believe in evolutionary psychology, to an extent. I believe that any tendencies not deemed "abnormal" by psychologists the world over, have been cultivated over many many years for specific purposes.

self-control... but, the way women dress now a days turns men into dogs.. They objective themselves, then complain about being objectified then they force men to treat like so then they complain men are dogs. Well, maybe men are dogs or you make them dogs.

 

on the other hand, it is not entirely their fault because society only values their bodies, sexuality, and their ability to reproduce. Women don't live in vacuum so they respond to what society values.

 

The people that commit violent/aggressive crimes are about 80% male 20% female according to recent studies and crime stats. Have to remember that those same people are a minority, they shouldn't be generalized as all men are like that. Wars, on the other hand are usually caused by governments, monarchies, etc. not individuals. Most modern governments have significant numbers of women in them and there are still wars.

 

So as far as I can tell, this thread was created to demonize men. Thats about right isn't it? So lets carry that idea to it's next step: "what do we do with these men that are raping us left and right?" How do you defend yourself? Well the most obvious solution is to kill all men. But, then there would be a penis shortage. Now the world has never faced a penis shortage, so it's unclear what the consequences would be, but I assume it'd be bad. So, other option. Fight back, get one of those things that fit in your vagina with spikes along the inside to kill penises, carry a knife, carry a gun, or just work out more. Get power in government or business. The laws are fixed at least in the US so no one is holding women down anymore except their own acceptance of stodgy ideas. Now thats a rant i think so let me sum it up:

Well you see, we are animals and especially mammals, and from one perspective we try to pass on our genes to the next generation, so for that women try to have protection, and men try to impress women by having power, control so that the women will have that protection for making babies. So really, from the perspective of evolutionary psychology, it is all about making babies. Therefore, we have wars, fighting etc because we want to propagate one set of genes rather than let other set of genes get passed on. the ones that win are the strongest ofcourse and women frolick to the strongest genes.

In any case, it is all because of ignorance, because we act like animals when we we don't have to act like animals, we can correct ourselves and focus more on peacefulness, spirituality and love to all- rather than fight like animals. So, meditate a bit , and think about what Buddha said.

 

According to evolutionary psychology and a little speculation on my part, wars and everything else is probably about passing our genes on. We fight and the strongest win, the strongest genes and the "better" genes get passed on so that the offspring can survive better and the offspring of the weak die off. So, in other words, we are all like animals. And if you really examine women and what they want, they want strong men, men that can take care of them , and they frolick to those types of men- men with power, men with money, thats why women like older men too, its not because they are old, it is because many old men have power, have money. With power and money, the man can take care of "you"- if that you is a woman, and therefore take care of your children. Anyway, this is from an evolutionary psychology perspective.

When you see it through spiritual perspective, it is all ignorance, we act like animals when we don't have to, the humans have a choice, either act like an animal , or live peacefully , with friendliness and love to all. So, there is a choice and people will usually pick the easier one- acting like an animal rather than act like the next buddha.

I think the fundamental fact we need to consider is that its not necessarily our desire to do those things.......its our attraction to power, and power drives those things, if that makes sense...or is that just dodging responsibility?
