Living it for yourself and seeing it with your own eyes is better than reading about it in a book. No matter how rare we might be, we know that women like us are out there.

People who have been members for a while know that Cherea has unresolved mommy issues because his mother was an ultra-radical feminist who fed him a lot of radical bullshit. Well, we can't fix that problem. He has to work it out for himself. Also, I'm pretty sure he's living in South America now, so his social situation has little to do with anything going on in America or Europe at the moment.

However, he is right about the shades of gray. Vanilla Gorilla likes to categorize people into standardized little boxes, but most of us don't fit neatly into boxes. We're mutts; products of all kinds of different influences and experiences and circumstances.

The truth is, society has shattered in all directions, like a glass dropped on a cement floor. Everybody has their genetic influences and social influences, and we're all doing something a little different with them. No one theory about sex is going to account for everything you might see.

You and I are birds of a feather, even though there is an age difference between us. I resisted any form or degree of monogamy for as long as I could, but you can't be the ultimate slut forever. After age 35, you can't walk into a club or bar and rule the place, no matter how hot you are. The younger guys just won't give a shit.

Women like us claim to want female friends, but our true interest in that is limited. We don't relate very well to women who have different perspectives from us, and similar women seem too much like competition. I noticed you only have male friends on your HF friends list.

I guess we need a new analogy. Any ideas?

Actually, he was more liberal than most of the men who lived in those small towns where I grew up, though I wouldn't call him a liberal by today's standards. Some of my friends' fathers were much worse.

Hey, I have my own group of haters that stalk me too . The way I see it, if you're on these boards and you don't have any haters, then you're just not a star player. There are a lot of "wannabes" that love to hate because they never will be.

And sometimes it's just nice to have someone else provide the entertainment around here...

I can't think of anything more annoying online than a self-proclaimed expert on a subject who has no success stories, only excuses for failure that involve blaming others. Posts like that are worthless, unless the failures are part of a larger picture of learning how to succeed in finding and building what you want. I don't think many people who have an interest in reading about love and sex care to read endless lamentations about why nothing can ever work out well for anybody.

If I really sucked at something and didn't want to suck anymore, I'd be asking questions, not telling everybody else how it all works.

I assume you're referring to Cherea here . You make a great point. And I wasn't supporting anyone's claims with my haters post. I was simply pointing out that most people who are good enough to articulate an opinion on these boards (be it right or wrong) are going to have people hate on them. That's just the way it is here. People hate because it empowers them. Fuck, there are people that hate on me just because of my sig!!

And I'm not saying you're a hater, KJ. Disproving someone's constant bullshit or putting someone in their place for being disrespectful or insulting is not hating . Stalking someone and trying to stir up shit with them any opportunity you can because you generally dislike (or hate) them.... that's hating.

 

That's how men and women are different. Each gender is a "hater" with a different method. What I get a kick out of is the self-assigned morality police that are so blind to their own hypocrisy.
