    Hi,

Looks like there is a small ban d of online hippies in Melb. Why don't we get together some time either Fitzroy or St Kilda? Just a casual gettogether. Let me know.

    Cheers

For those who hav'nt yet been go!
I went last year, with a few friends. My partner stayed home, cos tho I love him, he still believes Johnny Howard should have been made a god, where as I believe he should have been bur'nt at the stake. He is not hippy Friendly!
Anyhow I went to ConFest, a few days early to help with the setting up, and the whole Easter ConFest experience was awesome. I met a lot of really great, interesting people, all ages, all creeds and all lifestyles, and it was just such a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and it was so easy to make new friends. You can dress or not, and it was so nice to see such diversity.
We had a "Queer Friendly" village, but it was not exclusivly gay, it was well mixed, even with families, so it was a welcome experience.
I guess at heart I'm a hippie, with a Punk hairstyle, I like all music, and I'm a tradie. It was nice to be somewhere where I felt I fitted in.
So next Easter, I'm making it may summer holiday, gonna go travel a bit of the coastline for a few days,( I drive) then head up to ConFest a few days before Easter to help set up, and enjoy the weekend.
So yeah I hope to see some of you there at Easter. Can never have enough great friends.
