Well I must admit to being rather annoyed with those two self serving thoughtless me me me bastards who will use the fact that they are more or less Royalty to use the name to make pots of cash.
But without the responsibilities.

Particularly when I think of The Grandma Queen and Grandad sick hubby and at least some of the rest of the family.
They have dumped on them.
That is for sure!

And the fact we will go on paying millions of pounds paying for their security at the very least.
Canada won't pay it.
And America won't pay it.
It's us Brits being ripped off by Royalty.
Again!

 

Did any of you ever consider that their family is none of your business?

 

Of course the Royal Family IS our business Neon.

At least they have something to put on their resumes. That's a good thing.

 

I think its about time we draw up rules for the royal family, anybody below immediate family get a job or starve, IE no more poncing off the public purse, we cant afford it anymore.

If you want a house buy one, but don't expect us to buy you one.

 

I got a better idea - abolish the monarchy altogether, that way we save oodles of cash that we've been shelling out to this greedy family for centuries !!!

 

No I think we need them? they bring in lots of money in more ways than one, but we must stop paying for the odds and sods,and Harry has got very odd and sod his wife.

Harry has got very odd? perhaps it was his marriage vows or his cornflakes, good for him moving around the world expands the mind, but at this point if he wants to go, then go but he forgoes his money from the UK, as its all on his own back he does it and use his own money.

He has to grow up and use his own wealth and the tough thing for him would be get a job. whoops a royal working? and about time too, time he pays his own way.

He cant keep sponging off the people of the UK for life, time he grow up.

 

The $ 1 a year you pay in taxes towards the royal family doesnt really give anyone any right to be so venomous about Harry and Meghan making a choice to move though lol. It just comes off as a little unhinged to me. Just because a minuscule portion of your taxes (which they generate back in even more tax revenue through tourism) goes to the royal family doesnt mean you own them or have any say in how they live their lives

 

If there none of our business why are we paying for them then, the Queen should be paid from the purse of the privy council and that's it. the rest work for a living,

 

We pay for everything they ask for, we even put the money in her purse to back horses, yes our money.

 

(Sigh ) As I've said before pageantry doesn't rely on Mr & Mrs Windsor and their brood, more often than not they are no where near the torist centres when the visitors turn up. France Germany, Italy Austria, are all Republics and all do very nicely from their own forms of pageantruy and tourist attractions, and there is no reason why we can't do the same, after we've managed to abolish the monarchy. !!!

 

It's an artificially created class issue. Strip them off their privileges and far less people will have a problem with them. Nobility is still a class apart in the UK. In my country their being from a certain family line had far less significance for ages. Much better.

 

Nobility is a class apart in any country, but in our case there getting to big for there boots and do nothing in return for it, mind you that's how Harry now thinks, grab it and run, but he wants the UK police for nothing as well, plus the alarms for his house as well, we pay he sits back and does nothing.

Its not on as far as our household is concerned, if he goes he goes with his own money as its his choice.
