By the way im pretty sure even the plants have souls and who knows maybe they feel pain. (thats why i dont pick flowers very often)

I was a vegan for two years--Felt good, but you know... I could live off the ocean and grilling for the rest of my life.

To me, the best foods either come from the water or you can grill them. I smoke oysters, bluefish, etc.

I know that Diaz has said on numerous occasions that he's a Christian. I only wanted to put it in terms he might understand. Whether you believe in Adam and Eve doesn't matter; scientists still have found that our bodies weren't originally built to digest meat. We have forced our bodies to adapt to our diets. And that's fine! If you want to eat meat, so be it. I won't stop you.

As for that form of "fake" meat Diaz, I've heard about it before but I still wouldn't eat it. 1) it still originally came from an animal, it is still meat, it still does the same amount of damage to your system 2) I avoid GMO as much as possible. We still don't know the full effects of it on your system, not to mention the destruction of animals. GMO corn contains an insecticide that kills all insects that land on it, which is good for the harmful ones to the crop - but it's endangering the Monarch butterfly which is known to eat the insects the farmers don't like. The insects have ingested the corn, have the poison in their system...you know the rest.
