i dunno...i think he was gonna leave at the end of the season anyway, so it was good that we got something instead of nothing. we got some good defense out of the deal, but i dunno about the offense that were gonna be missing. its tricky. there could have been more thought on who to trade nomah for, but still, we got a gold glove winner. so hopefully it works out. but he does look wierd in a cubs uniform. i think its pretty funny that he went from boston, whose history in winning the world series is bad to the cubs whose history with the world series is worse, haha.

you shoulda heard me while that game was playing...i haven't been so fired up in a long time...seriously, how the fuck can you leave a pitcher in after giving up more than 2 HR in the same inning. and then he stayed in and gave up more...i would have had the bullpen ready so wicked fast...ugh. i just dont' understand how they ended up winning. that game was ridiculus and not in a good ridiculus way.

 

I agree. I still don't get how we won but fuck it we got the W and that's all that counts.
