Thank God it's not the early '90s when everybody was getting national talk shows. MTG would've gotten one for sure.

Her last day in office will be this Monday, January 5th. Maybe we'll get some idea of what she'll do then. As for what she'll do if Trump kicks the bucket anytime soon, maybe she'll help try to rally the GOP so they can survive in the Post-Trump era. But would a GOP in her vision be any better than Trump's GOP?

The thing is she's an opportunist same as T----. I guess one big difference is she's thinking about the long term rather than short term gratification and ego stroking. Once she saw the MAGAT boat sinking she stopped talking about crap like Jewish space lasers.
Whatever she chooses to support in the near future will most likely be to her advantage but hopefully won't be nearly as bad as all that MAGAT crap. Hopefully it will be just generic but true libertarianism. A boy can dream, can't he?

That would be awesome if a Democrat replaces her in the special election. That would show the GOP they need to make drastic changes in order not to get demolished in the mid-terms, possibly even getting Trump to step down.

It would be nice too see the Democrats get off their ass and try to elect someone there.....just maybe spend some of the billion bucks donated for Kamala, too.....

It would be nice if the Democrats knew how to spend their money more effectively.

We'll just have to see who Emperor Orange appoints for the position and what the price is.. I don't think the Democrats could win that seat if they were the only one on the ballot....they got their asses handed to them last time around.

Now a California Republican has died.
So that's two down from the MAGA Trainwreck.

Mike Johnson's margin in the house is getting as tight as his ass.

Maybe George Santos could take over for Large Marge. Makes as much sense as the rest of it...

The Dems picked up THREE SEATS TODAY!!!
I guess a new dem rep took his seat today as well.

    Now: Republicans 218 Dems 215
Looks like Repugnants can only lose 1 vote now!

There are a few open seats to be filled later this year.

Oh boy, midterms are gonna be fun!

Does MTG have any cohorts left?

I dunno, seems DT is going all scorched earth while he can. He has a year to totally fuck up the world.

Don't forget, more and more MAGAts are turning against Trump, and Dems are flipping a lot of red places to blue. Georgia's 14th District is a big challenge, but it would be so awesome if they won there!

Using a broad definition of "cohorts", there's Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, Lauren Boebert, to name of few. They should all be gone in November.

Take a drive through Georgia's 14th district. You'd find a Democrat strung up.

Nope, I truly don’t think so. Anything having to do with MAGA will forever carry the image of Trump, and she will try to hang on to some of that, to attract more of the base voters. But she will not be as successful as Trump has been with the movement. Everything she does will be questioned, even by republicans.

I dunno. I think she strikes a chord with women, mothers and the poor with her America First emphasis. She's nuts on that, but so are a lot of Americans presently.

I see her getting more coverage as Trump loses his grip on more Republicans if not MAGA diehards. She will either get a regular spot on some conservative channel, certainly guest slots.

She will probably start her own organization if she hasn't already to fundraise on specific issues. She certainly knows how to get attention from her first day in Congress.
