Sonic Advance came out for the Game Boy Advance not too long ago It's funny, because I remember years and years ago when the SNES and Mega Drive (Genesis) were the top consoles, there was a rumour about a Mario game on the Mega Drive/Sonic game on the SNES every two months or so. (Edit) trivia time: what was Mario's name in Donkey Kong? Bonus points if you can name his girlfriend from the same game...and if you can name his profession in this game (hint: not plumber), you win the thread
i know he was called jumpman...because thats the one fact you have told me about mario about sixteen thousand times...was he a circus trainer? and i can half remember his girlfriends name...but not at the moment...

Yeah, if not, there is a cheat. There are two secret magic whistles in the first world. If you find both of them (there are various cheat sites which tell you how to do so) then you can warp to any world in the game!
I know I disagreed with this earlier on, but after finding a flash version of Donkey Kong I have to admit the evidence is overwhelming...
Sonic all the way - he's so sexy! For a blue hedgehog...and he had a girlfriend, the little rascal! You don't see Mario getting anywhere with that princess bird.
get retro sal and pac mans the way to go.. but seriously... i never had sonic or mario as a child... never, maybe the lemmings... but not sonic or mario.. we didn't have little boxes to plug in our tv's... apart from that brilliant teniss game the lines and dots one like really old one! that was fun! pac man was sooo much fun, we got it on our computer when i was wee... (was surrounded by computer since i was tiny) aand thats what we played as well as tetris
I voted other because there is a awsome little guy who you all forgot called "Kirby" du du dum(dramatic music) yeah that right Kirby you know he kicks ass, i mean come on he can suck in enimies and then use there power all mario can do it be italian and all sonic can do it run fast. For all those who think Kirby is far greater and agree with what i say then Vote Other. Kirby rules!!!!
ok, think of it this way; mario is a rich plumber who imprisoned a monkey for his own evil doings! sonic has always been a good guy, and he like chilli-dogs. however, luigi is much cooler than both of them anyway and yoshi reigns supreme above all.
That was a moment of weakness, and remember that this was the dude (okay, the monkey) who stole his girlfriend...some things are hard to forgive! He's not exactly rich, either...on one Christmas episode of the Mario Brothers Super Show, the brothers had so little money that they had to wrap up their own favourite things and give them to each other! Mario gave Luigi his favourite wrench...now that's brotherly love Glad to see someone suggesting an "other" too I just thought of Megaman...although I didn't like those games, maybe someone else did?
yoshi isn't even close to kirby...think about it...yoshi's attack - getting punched in the back of the head so his tongue flies out... kirby - breathes in and destroys everyone...kirby is far superior
Yeah i suppose, but i mean i would love a Yoshi is he were real but alas........i must say kirby is better.....and why woudent he be he's a pink blob with the power to suck people in and use there powers. Then again Donkey Kong is kinnda cool(no where near Kirbys standereds but still cool) Kirby Rocks.
