I agree. Marijuana is a gateway drug. At least for me it was.

After years of catholic school and anti-drug propaganda, once I tried and realized marijuana wasn't harmful, but actually quite amazing, it pressed me to look into other things I may have been blind to.

This doesn't mean I went to my local neighborhood crack dealer and bought him out, but I started researching different things. I found out what can kill you and what can't. I found out whats habit-forming and what isn't. I've gone on to try many substances that opened many doors for me and if I hadn't, I know for a fact my life would be drastically different right now.

And for the record, I'd call anything that sparks your curiosity for mind-expanding chemicals a 'gateway' drug. Its not always pot people try first, yet its lumped as that "turning point" drug. I think gateway drugs, when used appropriately, can be the greatest kind of drug of all.

 

indeed, considering that humans had been using all sorts of plants and chemicals from these plants, centuries before this stupid society put a prohibition in place. As a friend of mine said "if we are smart enough to extract such compounds, we have every right to use them". What else do they exist for? Other than psychoactive substances, what else is there to do on this planet, that is not human created, that isn't a basic survival need?

Definitely. It exists for a reason. It is intended to be smoked/eaten and we are intended to benefit from it.

 

I wasn't intending on saying alcohol is better than marijuana if that how you interpreted it. Alcohol sucks and ruined almost all of my families lives. however, you STILL make dumb decisions on pot SOMETIMES but the dumb ideas are far outweighed when you compare it to alcohol.

and as for the money, i meant money for the goverenment. Isn't that the main argument for why it should be legal? -So the country can get out of debt? Yes it def. would but just imagine a nation ran by potheads....
