when i first started smoking i would smoke 3 times a week but now its about 6 days a week it also changed for other reasons 2 like getting immune to it, working (cash and it is a easy job so i blaze up almost everytime), new dealers, more important one is sellng in little ammounts(buy a half 0 or 0) to get cheap or free weed.

You're immune to weed? Lol, I doubt it, I think you mean you've built up a tolerance. If you were immune, it wouldn't effect you at all [IMG]

Ehh... we (meaning the people in my house, meaning myself, my husband and my roommate) are all basically stoned all the time. Damn near. And y'know what? We don't see a problem with it. My husband and roommate don't smoke at work, we don't get incredibly baked when there's something important going on, we've never smoked around friends' kids (unless they smoke around their own kids anyway), we don't have a problem going outside if someone is at our house that doesn't smoke. Really don't see a problem with being heavy smokers. We're responsible and respectful about it.

And when you smoke that much, you really don't burn out. I mean, sure, at night, when I get tired, I REALLY crash... but what the hell, I've always had sleep problems anyway. When you're stoned all the time, to the point where people can't visibly tell that you're stoned and when they do see you when you're not stoned, they think something's different about you... when you can stay baked all day without getting stupidly fried, and still be functional and aware of what's going on... I think it's a happy place.

You just pretty much summed up why you don't have a problem, right there.
    Good to hear.

I agree with the OP. You can't smoke it all the time (at least I can't) it gives me a shitty feeling. I smoked maybe 1-2 times a day and everything starting becoming a bit hazy. Things were somewhat confusing and everything felt chaotic. I've since smoked a lil bit and I'm fine. Currently on a break and feeling great. I don't attribute my feelings to the weed itself, but it definately had something to do with it.

    It's difrent for every one.
I find If I do it every day it starts to lose its magic touch.

Some times its great to take a brake and wait for the perfect time to smoke, makes me love it all over again.

I smoke every day. Never all day... I record music, so it's usually something to chew on. Plus I have alot of pain and some nerve damage from a really bad car accident I was in, every now and then. (the car went between two trees and I had to climb out through the trunk)

Never really had problems being burnt out or anything. If I did, they never lasted long because I was busy doing something more important or I took care if it beforehand.

Which is why I don't smoke before work. I live close to the docks I work by (oyster harvesting), so I come home for lunch and usually smoke a joint before I roll back. Most of them don't care... or they're migrants from Mexico and smoke too.

idk about you guys, but i like being burntout. I hate smoking and feeling burnt out instead of being high, but a burn out effect afterwards is pretty cool.

This cannot be stressed enough. I only smoke like two or three times a week now and it is most definitely worth it. I get a lot higher and I don't spend anywhere near as much money on it. I also have more energy.

I try to smoke everyday mostly because the people I'm forced to deal with everyday stress me out and weed is my release.

I definitely find that for me (whether I like it or not), smoking every day definitely seems to lessen the effect...whatever that effect may be. The best (and most common) effect it has on me is that my mind is beyond peaceful. I know it may sound cliche, but I really feel a sense of beauty, enlightenment, and gratitude that I don't normally feel.

That said, I try not do it everyday for a few reasons: to optimize the effect when I do it, to remind myself I can have similarly pleasant experiences even when I don't do it, and to save a little money.

20 year old's telling 15 year olds that they don't know shit and haven't the experience to make such calls... lol

Here's a clue for the lot of ya... If you want to understand the long term effect of weed, ask someone who has been smoking for a long time...

A long time is not a few years... or even 5 or 10 years... You have people on this site, some of whom post quite regularly, that have been smoking longer then most of the posters in this thread have been alive...

sometimes i smoke and just get really tired and honestly irritated at things... it's weird. like i can sleep ALL DAY. i've done it before too... just woke up planning to have a smoking day and enjoy doing things high but ill just smoke and sleep and wake up and continue to sleep all day/smoke.

other times i smoke and chill out listen to some tunes a good tv show, smoke a few cigs...

then i'll get high sometimes and want to do stuff like write a story or a movie script or get out into nature, or something creative.

different weeds give the different highs(as mentioned). i like the sativa dominant weed the best. happy, active, thoughtful, creative, enhanced.

indica is kinda boring... like it's a consistency dark green skunky weed, makes me really tired. sometimes irritated at things. and even gets me depressed.

used to think smoking all the time all day was the shizzle(still do though lol) but i have realized there are some situations and types of weed that just don't mix.

I've been smoking 35 years and when I was in my teens I felt the same way, burned out or energetic. Like throwing the dice.

I learned there is a time and place, I've also learned if I want to be high and get things done you smoke a sativa, if I want to relax at the end of the day I smoke some indica.

I've also learned it's not a contest to see how high you can get, there is nothing wrong with taking a few hits to get a bit of a buzz going and then taking a few more in a bit to maintain that buzz.
