Sometimes yes, sometimes not. Here if its a sign, people will just get in the back of a truck, and lift your bike up off the sign. Of course, a lot of people think I'm crazy and don't try to steal my bike

That's not my bike by the way. As many city dutchies I go by this strategy:

And have a pretty rusty bicycle that gets me just to the places in the town I need to be. The lock is almost as much worth as my bicycle :p

And really, locks are just a deterrent, or to scare people away.
Anyone can break or pick a lock.

Yes but most do that at night or where ever it's quiet. Not in daytime in front of stores. Well some thieves are cheeky enough but if you have a good chain lock and some people in the street they won't bother.

:(my security deterrent is being "the crazy guy" lol I am a gentle giant, but steal my shit and we will have some problems. Being 6'2 180 lbs, and making it known you have a clear love for firearms, for some reason, makes people not want to steal my possessions? whats up with that you guys ? :(

I'm not comparing bikes to wheelchairs on the premise that wheelchairs shouldn't be allowed in buildings either. I'm pointing out the logical fallacy of allowing one but not the other. Work on reading comprehension.

I have work and a life outside these forums. I'm not glued to the computer awaiting every new response.

lol yeah I'm trying to find a job I sell avon online, so for now thats all i've got. Hopefully once I get my license and a truck I can start selling back wooden pallets to the manufacturing companies and pallet factories around here, they pay 2.50-3.50 per pallet

If someone wants to make a quick stop indoors. Such as an ATM, drop off prescription, order to go, etc. And the nearest bike rack is 3 blocks away or more. It is kind of an inconvenience to lock it up.

Some places will give leeway I noticed. Which is nice. But some places have zero tolerance toward for bikes, even for a brief moment.

I wasn't waiting for an immediate response. When you responded to this post would have been fine. Instead you told us you didn't have time to respond to that post, but could respond to this post. mmmm...

Ranger's response was a bit rude, but you upped the ante.

There is no logical fallacy of allowing one but not the other. Disabled people have no reasonable opportunity to access a building without a wheelchair. Cyclists may sometimes find it more convenient to bring their bikes inside a building, but face no fundamental barrier to access.

Disabled people in wheel chairs are therefor granted entry whereas cyclists are not.

A lot of places are probably worried about liability, among other things. If someone trips over someone in a wheelchair, it would be difficult to sue. If someone trips over a bicycle, they would likely have a stronger case for a law suit.

Your complaint about lack of accommodation for cyclists is valid however. I think that answer is more bike racks.

No one wants their 3 year old child to get a bike bashed in their face while they,re shopping with grandma because some douchebag is too lazy to find a place to lock it up.

    that's why
