I wouldn't sit there to appease the "cool" members. In fact, I wouldn't come, because I know it's no different than a high school reunion, with a bunch of pricks who think they're all that, and all of the regular people who have no fucking clue what they're doing there.
I don't differentiate. If someone is less able than me, regardless of gender, and I can help..., I do. But, if a woman is standing by my passenger car door waiting for me to open her door? Well, she might as well stick out her thump and hope the next car gives her a ride. And, on the other hand, my military outfit is one of the few that still bars females. I hate that! I believe in equal rights but, along with equal rights comes equal responsibility.
I appreciate everyone that weighed in with their opinions. I was just curious as to what everyone thought. Again, I do these things without thinking because where I was raised they were taught. Not that it's right mind you, it just was.
I too was taught the same matey, and still practice that which I was taught. There is no reason to apologise for 'good manners' !!!
well at least drinking a cup of cup watching the sunrise over the ocean is still not taboo....so all is not lost I guess
Nothing's better than a cup full of cup. I love that cuppy afterglow I get after a fresh cup full of cup.
