I'm upset, the hat I was wearing the that picture above fell off when I was out and I didn't realise until I got home! I've been wearing it almost everyday to help tame the fluff!!
aww, that is lame. I been using a long scarf and doing a dread wrap with it when I go out to tame my fluff. dreadspullen has some good tutorials.
Re-dyed them red again. They held up quite well, I didn't use the conditioning stuff after. I also noticed that when I took the beads out to dye (I counted 22 lol) that the places they had been locked together really nicely! So I've only put a few back in on places where they feel looser, I've also combined a few smaller dreads together with beads because some were so thin and were naturally joining at the roots anyway. New dread count is 37
hahahaahaa it's funny how a hat can fall off your head and you don't notice. I lost a favorite hat too oh yeah, nice hair
Looking awesome! Be patient, the best dreadlocks arnt perfect. Mine took ages to get to something decent. I used a similar process to you, somewhere between twist/rip and neglect. All my deads are uneven, some random and others fall apart for no reason, it's all part of the dready-way Shayla x
6 week update, with some cool shapes and just all round coolness..for some reason my phone camera doesn't take my hair colour at all, it makes it look brown but its actually pretty bright red..
The thing I'm thinking about is being left with really short hair if I ever cut them out down the road...still thinking...I have fears of my daughter cutting them off when I'm too old to fight back, lol.
