i dont know if he had dreads under it, but there had to have been a crap load of hair either way.
and i never heard of wayer a tam for an afro.

You ever had the courage to venture into hat-man? As a white man with dreadlocks I wont go within 100 yards of the place.

they look kinda mass produced and the purpose of this thread was more for hand made crafters i would say they look ok if ya wamna buy 1 but personaly id rather support a crafter here that makes each 1 special and doest pump out thousands at a time

with an inventotu of thousands i dont believe they need out help advertisimng either any1 can find theyre crap with a web search so according to thread rules ya probly should edit it out buyt go ahead and buy 1 of ya want
me though id rather but from someone who put alittle love into each and every stitch then but some that just are made by machines by the thousands

    ^^ WHS:)
Get one off here, they will be better quality, actual wool :p
I wouldnt advise getting one from them, think about small children being employed for a few pence per day to make these :(

I just bought a couple from
http://purplesagedesignz.com/store/W...t=HandmadeHats One is here, and another is on it's way, since their quick replies to my emails gave me the confidence to order another before the first one arrived. Angelika is great to deal with, and she is super friendly. The tam I received today fit wonderfully, and is very well-made. I highly recommend.

Do any of you guys have advice on knitting/crocheting nice and big (but still able to hold onto your head) tams? I don't have dreads, but I do have bum length hair, so having a tam to put it up in when it gets colder out would be lovely :D

Thanks so much for any patterns or advice you can give!
