Make Hipforums Great Again

It was around that same time when I first happened upon Hipforums. Within 6 months I was basically running the show. I began in the politics forums but was posting everywhere including RT when I’d make threads of my actual random thoughts. I had a healthy balance of friends and enemies which is how I like it. I was a bit of a bully because I’m good with words and can use them to dominate others but was also very well liked. I was entertaining myself and people enjoyed it.

It’s been 10 years since I was last here. I was a little anxious about logging in because I was worried I’d suddenly be up until 4am every night. That has not been the case. It’s not quite the same but I think it’s more about my situation than the forum itself. I had very little going on in my life at that point and Hipforums apparently filled a void.

it would be fun to see the old members back around. Perhaps a reunion is in order.

 

it's kind of the same with me, except i think it's a combination of both. i first found the place in 2003, but the height of my posting was around 2006-2008 or so, when i basically was working and posting on hipforums and not doing much of anything else. and the forums were busy enough that i still felt like i was falling behind every time i went to work or to bed. now i actually have a life, and the forums are usually slow enough that i can keep up on everything that happens by checking in for a few minutes here and there. it's like the forums are growing old along with me.

 

Hip Forums May Age.......BUT......"Undies".... Shall Forever Remain "Ageless"........
