Post-Syd Pink Floyd is nothing but unimpressive music/lyrics that try too hard to be meaningful and abstract. What's sad is that those are the songs that get all the credit. I love Syd's Floyd though, I'm listening to it right now.

I get sick of people focusing all of their attention on his drug consumption and 'insanity', especially kids about my age who 'like' him solely because of it. Let's forget about that and just appreciate the great music he made.

But anyway, back on topic - I haven't heard any Damien Marley songs, but if it's like Bob Marley then I guess it's alright. I think Bob Marley tends to be overrated though...most of his fans are high school kids who want to be thought of as stoners so they wear a shirt with him on it and quote his songs.

Wow, I'm sorry to be so pessimistic in this post ;)

I'm listening to the album that is on right now.

Just finished Corporal Clegg, and now on to Saucerful.
Great album. that is my favorite era, piper-meddle/dark side. the really expiremental psychedelic stuff is just amazing.

    RIP SYD

Pink Floyd will allways hold a place in my heart. lol, I had to look up that song, because I tend not to know the names of their songs.....I usually listen to them by albums, rather than by song. Its a good tune, I once had a huge awakening listening to it on mushrooms......

I do know a Panacea, it's some kind of industrial drum 'n bass stuff. Low-profile Darkness is a very trippy album, I can not listen to it too often though.
