i don't know them a lot... they're quite good... i don't listen to them since...10 years ! i don't remember well... there's a lot of bands influenced by them... they were really important for the underground US scene...but for Blur too for exemple... in the same family i like the movin' sidewalks... the psyche ex- band of the ZZ top guitarist !

They don't reach the success they were searchin' with 3 good albums from 73 to 75 ...it's somewhere in between Led Zeppelin & early (late 70's good) Van Halen
