I love Janis Joplin's voice, despite the scratchiness. I don't know that particular song though...

Oh dear Janis ... will i shed a tear... no no sorry not for her... she's talented yes... but not a tear... a tear for every star that shines in my heart... and Janis never touch my heart ...maybe in one of my future days she gonna reach my pulse...i hope she's smokin' new clouds at the right side of the divine...

    Oh plaaa...

    Mahogany Rush
    "I'm Going Away"
    -Mahogany Rush IV- LP 1976

A obscure canadian band... in reality they were not so obscure back in the mid-70's ...this album was a success... it includes a few classic.

There's a legend about the leader... Marino when he was only 16 he made a bad trip of LSD (it was late 1970) he was hospitalised and in his long trip he was visited by Hendrix soul (just dead) and even possessed by Hendrix soul (this is his troubled vision)... Since this trip he recover slowly...he directly let down the drums & learn guitar very quick and nearly instantly new how to play Hendrix songs...
    Then he form Mahogany Rush...
