I know just a few of his songs but the man is alright..."Sheila" in itself make me remember some Buddy Holly records...
It's cool to hear this song in your car with a girl at your side lookin at city from the hill...really cool

I listen to (something really different)

    Black Sabbath
    "Wishing Well"
    -Heaven & Hell - LP 1980

From my point of vue it's one of the last good year of Hard rock ...And this time is Dio at the command of the pagan ceremony (ok Iommi is the wizard).
This song is the first of the 2nd side and it's one of the best and most psychedelic (guitar) of the album.

I like Black Sabbath but I mostly know all of their early 70's albums. I've listened from their first album to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and a song from 1981 called "Sign Of The Southern Cross. I need to lsiten to their mid and late 70's albums.

The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter

I love Heaven and Hell, it's the best thing Black Sabbath did without Ozzy. Wishing well is a great song, Dio's vocals are great, just as the slightly psychedelic part.

I'm listening to Witchcraft - Chylde of fire. It's from the album Firewood and sounds like a pure Black Sabbath tribute.

I would agree with that, 1980 is kind of the last good year for hard rock or heavy metal as well a progressive rock, actually 1979 was the last good year for progressive rock, with "The Wall" and "Breakfast In America".

Yeah sabbath are in fact ...uhm often fans like their album until Mob Rules (1981) then Dio leave the band and hard rock music is evolvin since 83 until 91 into something really commercial and WASP...and it include bad sabbath album from 83 :( .

Gimme Shelter is a classic ......the voices behind Jagger are really divine...it's a giant stone

    I listen to

    Deep Purple
    "The Gypsy"
    -Stormbringer- LP 1974

It's the last album with Blackmore...good stuff

    Bye
