its been a while since i did any updates now, these pictures are about a month old, making my dreadlocks 4 and 1/2 month old at the time. things are going well, a bit slower then i hoped for, but im patient. on one of the pictures u can see it is still wax in my hair (still not gone now after 5 and 1/2 month, but geting slowly better). now in the summer ive probably washed my hair more often then i should because its hot and i get sweaty at work, so they have unraveled a bit. hopefully they will knot back up soon. my locks are now fairly well knotted in the middle, but loose in the tips and roots. have tryed most weird tricks u guys come up with, some of them work to a certain degree, but its so much work i decided to let time take care of it instead

the pictures are from a vecation in croatia with my family (only way i could afford to go anywhere was to travel back to my mom and dad to join them)

i removed rubberbands after 6 days, now its been 5 months, they are out in the free, except for the ponytail when i need to get them out of my face (when i eat and stuff)

 

i just went back in the thread and went through your whole dreadie timeline. congrats on getting all that wax out! they're beautiful babies.

my dreads are unraveling and dreading back up at the moment i think. doing some weird stuff. ill post all the new pics i took today. my dreads are 6 months old now, and they look different everyday. this is taken on a 'bad dread day' but im posting them anyway.

this one is named loopy for obvius reasons. its one of my favourite dreads. it does all this weird stuff and is looping all over the place. i wonder what loopy is planning for next week and next month, because loopy always keep surprising me

different angle again. its really messy somwhere, and some dreads are starting to look more like natural dreads then backcombed dreads. loose hairs some places, especially in the neck

those are great locks, seriously. i think mine are going to wind up about that relative size and shape. i have a dread that's a lot like loopy, too!

 

i hvae to make a montage one day of pictures from day 1 until today, because all i got now is this thread

 

less wax, more mess, and closing up on 1 year (11 1/2 month). i like mess more then i like wax. more or less neglected them for the last months. got bored of the palmrolling. wash it more often now because ive started to work out and do capoeira (i still suck, but its fun). ive been planning to use a day to mentain my hair soon, but i guess im too lazy to ever get it done, because ive been planning it for 3 months
