Well, we know there's no sense in either of us trying to go it alone, ya know? No matter where we stand romantically, as parents we have an obligation to help each other do everything we can for the kids and for all of our futures. Thanks for the positive vibes though. Grammar be damned, FTW!!
*high five* i know EXACTLY what you're sayin, and i know you know i do lol... i wish more parents had the same mentality, we'd have a lot less fucked up people in this world.
cool beans...i'm working on buying plane tickets out to seattle for my wilderness trip, just searching prices right now glad you guys made it out there safely and didin't strangle each other too many times
That is the kind of crap I would have expected you to post in reply. There is or was something that seattle is known for, largest number of uncaught serial killers or something like that.
Why even comment on it if you expected it? Seattle is known for a lot of shit. Before you start stating facts, why not make sure you at least have some general idea of wtf you're going on about....
The last time I checked we were in RT and not a court of law. Also, your first comment was just idiotic. What does your response have to do with whether or not I post something or not, especially considering how little I value your opinion?
Good stuff man, I imagine that area is a nice place to be. Close to BC which, from what every Canadian in the world tells me, has loads of stuff to offer and I'm sure WA does as well. Do you know how long you're staying for?
Even flying can be rough with little ones! I remember when we went to Florida and one of the twins (they had just turned 2) cried/screamed for what seemed like the entire 2.5 hour flight, and then the other one decided to join in towards the end. My oldest son, who was 5 at the time, wasn't too bad, but he kept purposely dropping his markers on the floor of the plane so he could watch them roll. Anyway I felt so bad for the passengers of the flight after subjecting them to the chorus of twin toddler hysteria, and let me tell you, my nerves were totally shot by the time we got off that plane. I remember dreading the flight home, but thankfully it ended up not being as bad. The flight up had been packed, the flight back was less crowded and we had a lot more room for the kids to stretch out. Yeah, travling with kids is definitely not for the faint at heart.
Seattle? You're on crack. Seattle is VERY safe. Perhaps one of the safest big cities in the US. The only problem they have is with teens running away to there because of it's great social service programs.
I'm not sure, to be honest. This is considered a permanent move, but if I reach my goals, a permanent location will mean a mailing address and a steady bed(travel)... So I dunno I couldn't imagine taking them on a plane. I think they'd fare with the cramped spaces well, but I couldn't imagine the pressurization issues and headaches. The next time we travel though I'm sure will be worse since they'll be old enough to fight over more stuff. Maybe I'll just start checking them as cargo. And now, yours truly. The best thing to hit Seattle since the World's Fair...
You guys should set up an Etsy shop. I'll help in anyway I can. With all that equipment..shit I was thinkign of opening a second store just with our drummel tool and engraving.
Yeah, looking back, the whole pressurization thing could have been why the twins were carrying on so badly. And you're right, the older they get, the more they fight. Mine have some doozies. Cargo huh? If only!
