That's your call, taking it 1-2 hours later won't do much more than extend your trip a little bit. I would consider taking both at once, though the microdots going around these days sound like they're nice and strong, but who knows what you've got. One strong great LSD experience is worth 10 weak mediocre trips.

Having your gf there is a good idea, you'd probably want her there anyways.

As for the bathroom mirror, if that gives you a bad trip, better hide the kitchen knives and door frames too, since those might give you flashbacks. ;) in other words: it doesn't work like that. If you actually become psychologically traumatized because of your reflection in a mirror I think there are much bigger problems in your head lol. To be honest I spend extremely little time if any in front of mirrors on psychedelics. There's just much, much better things to do (like your gf! :)) than stare at myself visually . . . i'm already being turned inside out and splattered across reality so the mere visual representation of myself in a little vanity mirror is like a second-rate impersonation of what's going on in my direct conscious experience. And if you're after visuals, again, much better things to look at than your mug! :D

BE SURE to take a shower, this is always, always, always one of the best points of every trip I have taken with every substance, and LSD is no exception. Try and get a hold of some different colored light sources, something pretty that you can put in a room and it will give you lots of hues and shadows to play with. Glowsticks are AMAZING, get as many as you can afford for the trip. Music is practically necessary, take the time to make a several hour playlist of songs you think you'll wanna hear and maybe some new stuff you think you might like or might be appropriate.

Try and include both indoors and outdoors, turn off cellphones etc, and relax, it only lasts 8-12 hours, and you'll likely be sad that it's ending (but feeling too good to actually be sad) :)

revolver is their BEST album! I feel it's the Beatles most "complete" album. The rest feel more like song based collections. Revolver is an album. Abby Road, is actually good as an album though. But Revolver is nicknamed the Acid album for a reason, Love you to is incredible. Any sitar song is: Norwegian Wood, Within You Without You, Tomorrow Never Knows, Across the Universe (Anthology version), etc. Just have fun

Revolver on acid is just incredible though, I'd suggest it. But again, it's what you like. If you don't even like the Beatles, that doesn't mean you HAVE to listen to them. Do what you like.

^ Sgt. Peppers Lonley Heart club, is way beyond a collection of songs or an album for that matter, it's an experience and generally considered their most LSD influenced album. I prefer Abbey Road overall tho.

I actually got turned off from listening to 'Tomorrow Never Knows' after listening to it on 2ce, it was weird.

^Oh yeah. I'm not gonna hate on their other albums. I fucking love the beatles. Sgt. Peppers is great! The whole concept of it is a master piece-wanting to "be another band" Ringo was Billy Shears as his nickname. I think they all had names.

Let it Be.. Naked is one of my favorites. Magical Mystery Tour (technically a collection of singles) is TRIPPY, White Album is like a scatterbrained piece, but I love every song. They're such a great LSD influenced band. I love pretty much every song except what's on "One" Ironically their greatest hits. But Lucy in the Sky is good.

There are some weak points on the album, like I'm not particularly fond of "Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite" but listening to it, especially under the influence of LSD you realize the album flows seamlessly at a level The Beatles had yet to attain. 'A Day in the life' is the Mccartney/lennon songwriting peak imo and the album has got such a great vibe under the influence of LSD, I can't imagine what it must've sounded like listening to it back in the 60's for the first time.

    ah right.

    well i don't take l.s.d

so i suppose that might account for different perspectives.

i personally like rubber soul - but i will zip it

don't want to detract from the point of the thread.

(a day in the life though - is one of the greats... as is kite!! :frown:)

This thread got answered in all fairness haha.. the side track was just a bonus

I LOVE benefit for Mr. Kite, but it's overrated for sure. I love the melody more than the lyrics.. it's also just a whacky song. A day in the life however is one of the best songs they've ever done, a true masterpiece. Mr. Kite is one of those fruity songs that's funny-but that doesn't mean it's not good

^ What's some weak tracks on Sgt. Peppers for you guys?

I don't really listen to "When I'm 64" or "She's Leaving home" sober but I find the first one sort of humorous under the influence of LSD and the later absoultely beautiful.

    i agree with 'when i'm 64' - it's a little cheesy

but it's still a great song

just maybe on the wrong album.

my personal favourite is probably 'getting better'.

Good Morning Good Morning is my least favorite. I think it's completely just a different style, it feels like a white album b-side.. Fixing a hole is one of my favorites, I like the dual vocals on she's leaving home, but it's easily one of the worst of the sgt. pepper tracks. I like it though. When I'm 64 on acid is SO funny. OMG, the Bass and piano licks are so ... head bobbity.. I don't even know the words to describe.

I'm not going to discredit the artistical aspect of mr. kite. That is a great song. It came from a circus poster, but the atmosphere with instruments captures the mood well, and it's also just so different, I love that whacky solo so much! I actually think that Sgt Peppers is one of the worse songs too.. But I like them on acid. And I like them in the album, but not as a song..

Have you guys listened to alternate Sgt. Peppers, or Alternate Revolver? They're remixes by the beatles of the albums

^ D00d that makes me sad. Good Morning Good Morning was one of my favorite songs off the album listening to it on LSD. Such awesome lyrics and vibe to it.

^I could see that.. I'll try it next trip.. I think tomorrow. I actually rather like the song, like if it were to be live, I love the vocal melody, beat, and solo. But all the ambience kind of sets me off. I retract my statement about it sounding like a white album b-side though. The ambience is actually kind of what makes sgt. peppers = sgt. peppers. But that particular ambience I don't like so much.

"Going to work, don't want to go, feeling low now" "After awhile you start to smile, now you feel cool" I love the lines and the way they're said. I started listening to Sgt. Peppers again haha, and Good Morning is defiantly higher than She's leaving home, but I'd still say it's one of my least favorites. Not that it's bad though -It's just the lesser of two goods haha

Forgive me if you guys are offended by this but:
The Beatles were a great band, they were visionaries in their field, they were pioneers. They have some great tunes. I used to love Beatles music a few years ago, but I kind of realized that maybe the songwriting was great, but once the music scene went psychedelic and the beatles tried to do so, they got left behind. They may have been on the forefront, but I feel like there are bands who have created music that is much more worth of listening to and analyzing on or off LSD than the Beatles.
I feel like Beatles songs are so easily understood and so simple, which has its merits, but I also feel that some of the connections int heir music was merely coincidental or accidental.

What I am trying to say is I have a hard time finding any Beatles songs to be overly deep or really interesting now that I have heard some more technical and might I say 'smarter' artists.

I know there will be opposition to this post, and let me be clear, I don't hate the Beatles at all, I own most of the LPs and such and enjoy a listen once in a while, I am just trying to say that its weird that we are discussing Beatles music as 'serious' psychedelic music.

Sounds great. Two hits it is.
The microdots I got are round & blue with a dot in the middle, which looks kinda white. I'm assuming they like injected the acid in this dot? But I have no clue really.

Also smoke weed on LSD? I smoke weed almost everyday, but I don't want it to alter the experiance in a negative way. Unless it enhances visuals. I've never really had visuals from shrooms, and never done acid before so I want the first experiance to be amazing.

Also should be trying these microdots, known in my area as "blurs"(probably just made up name) on Saturday night. I'll try and write my first trip report, :).

visuals are like 1% of the experience dude. Often they aren't even there unless you're on a strong dose. smoke weed a few hours into it so you know what it's like on its own. i smoke weed every time i take acid but i smoke weed daily as well :)

The Beatles are serious psychedelic music, you got shit twisted. The Beatles pioneered psychedelic music and then left psychedelic music in the dust when everyone started to just catch up with them. Sure Pink Floyd took psychedelia to a whole nother level, The Doors had an edge to their music that The Beatles lacked but I'll take a Beatles album over a Grateful Dead studio album any day for my trips. I'm not sure who else you would put into that serious psychedelic category.
