lsd vs. shrooms

I think it would be better to compare 1gram to 1tab

People usually eat x gram(s) of shrooms or x tab(s) of lsd. So starting with a value of 1 for each usual dosing measurement seems to be best.
In this case, i would say acid is more potent then shrooms, at least cubes. Ultimately it depends on the quality of both substances though, if either are below "standard" then this obviously wouldn't hold true.

Shrooms feel more comfortable, a natural aspect. Where as LSD has a more chemical feel/vibe, at least during the come up and down. Anyone else notice that, or is it my mind playing tricks on me....possible.

 

oof idk about comparing 1g of shrooms to 1 tab is right, i dont know anyone that would trip from a measly gram of shrooms, you need to compare it in the nature that will make you trip.

comparing 1g to 1 tab is like comparing a bundle of heroin to a perc 5. you have to compare fairly

 

i believe it is fair, it is they smallest(whole) value in the generally accepted dosing measurements for each substance. People measure by tab and gram, not by amount that would make you trip. i can trip from 3 hits and from 3.5grams, but they are not alike.

Not that i would ever measure 1tab to 1gram, i would use that as a baseline, so if i wanted to compare 5 tabs to mushrooms it would be = 5tabs vs. 5grams. See what i mean. In other words, measuring by what makes you trip introduces a lot of variables.

I think the simplest most universally understood method would be compare gram for tab. Since that is what everyone is familiar with.

1tab is stronger than 1gram but incidentally i find 7grams to be stronger than 7tabs.

I don't think this is a perfect method, there are obvious flaws, but it is how i would do it.(above)

What would be interesting is to see a study done where dosage is charted with "height of experience". Where the lsd and shroom chart crossed, or the same "height of experience" is achieved in both substances, those dosage values would be noted and then either reduced or increased in the same ratio to see if the same "height of experience" is achieved.

Example - The average dosage for the same "height of experience" is
1 tab = 2 grams.

So then would 2 tabs = 4 grams. Assuming the potency of each substance was consistent.

Maybe i can get government funding?

1 gram and 1 hit of acid are often the same price... so its a good comparison

 

Yah there is no real solid way of relative comparison as the amount of LSD can vary dramatically between hits as well as psilocybin between shrooms but 1:1 is a more accurate comparison than 1: 3.5 grams for sure.

In my opinion, shrooms have a happier, more laid-back feel,
where acid has a serious feel to it; though not necessarily
a bad one.

 

Sometimes I'm really in the mood for a tangerine, other times I just like to have an orange.
