or neutral...... do we do better at doing harm or creating? lemme look, hey, when was the last time we created a city in 30 seconds? we destroyed one last century...... 2 actually, and quicker....
But our SKILLS at creating are better than at destroying. Which is harder building a 50 story building or blowing it up? You can't honestly claim that believing all human beings are born evil is a neutral view.
we only percieve it as easier because we have a tendency to gravitate towards destruction the level of craftsmanship and ingenuity we put into bombs goes far beyond what we put into virtually anything else read up on fuel air bombs.....
We disagree on who the creator is. Then somebody sees the disagreement as a way to convince people to kill all the other people who have a different opinion on who the creator is because they are greedy. Then those people have deep hate of one another, which they pass on to their children. Materialism is the cause of all evil.
alternativly, children are born greedy, we just see it as greed and not what it really is, we see the facet not the stone..... silly us....
Hahaha. Nate, I'm sorry George and I (and I think maybe Kirk a little bit too..) wrecked your thread last night.
I would agree we are born greedy, but not evil. Just because we are born thinking of our own needs (and wants) first doesn't mean we are engrained to cause harm.
oh, so we have a facet of evil, but we aren't evil? greed is evil, good v. evil are the big categories that every trait and behaviour fit into, guess what, greed is a facet of evil
Greed isn't evil. Anything in excess can be said to be "evil." Greed is just trying to care for ourselves.
I'm gonna let you look at the word itself, the mechanics of the word and such before I respond to this......
