    Sorry I was not thinking correctly ::cough cough:: there are 9. The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. FORGIVE ME OH GREAT McGEE!!!

    actually an object large enough to be considered a planet was discovered orbiting the sun out past pluto but i dont know if it has a name

    Yeah that's what I thought at first but I checked on that and it hasn't been made "official" It's name is like MT-374 or something of the sort (Letters-Numbers)...
