mechanical sounds (not made deliberately for music, just sounds made by machines from their normal functioning, like trains, cars, machine tools)

 

MOST mechanical sounds,yes. I drive a low-lowder,plus operate the machinery I carry,so the sound of 360's & 180's,or a dozer powering up is 'kerching' to my ears. However,I'm not at all fond of the sound of bloody great passenger-carrying jumbo jets coming in to land/taking off. It seems to me we're suddenly getting all sorts of weather patterns being unpredictable and stormy. THAT started around 35 years ago...and coincides with having thousands of 300 ton jets all whizzing in different directions,at different heights,on any given day. Personally,I don't see that as coincidence. The amount of turbulence in the air these days HAS to have an effect on weather patterns and unexpected storms. However,I do like the sound of a properly played 12-string acoustic guitar. [mine's always in use when I'm home from work-and sometimes at local gigs. Not for money,just for the enjoyment]

 

The use of cellphones?

 

Love...I love that I'm never out of touch, but! I hate them being used by ignorant people, who don't take them from their ear to take change, say thank you etc etc

Energy save light bulbs

 

Must have. Although they have a unnatural glow to them


Fluoride free toothpaste or just plain colgate

 

just plain colgate is just fine for me!

Dipping your french fries in your milkshake?

 

I would never do that so definitely not love. I do like a good milk shake occasionally and also in combination with some nice pommes frites. Just don't like them in my milkshake


All you can eat restaurants

 

Love them, especially pizza buffets. i like having a selection. Its fun for treats. Not something I do often, about once a year or less.
