I don't actually remember the last shower I had when I was not baked. I love showering stoned, it is like you can feel every droplet of water hitting your skin. Just standing or sitting under the pounding water for 5 mins or so is just amazing.

It's not really the same thing, you don't waste gallons of water swimming in nature.

Yeah, and what about the purification of your water. It's done with chemicals. Besides that your also wasting energy while wasting (especially warm) water. Can't believe I'm on a 'hippieforum' here when I seem one of the few who cares about this shit. I feel pretty guilty if I shower way too long without a need. 15 minutes should be long enough to clean yourself and your hair very well... unless you have a handicap or something.
Of course we all waste minutes under the shower sometimes (can't help it sometimes in the morning) but to stand there regularly like an hour... wtf. Get a tub.

man I hate people who complain about how other's live when there lives and what they do dosn't concern them.

 

How does millions of people wasting water, chemicals and energy not concern me? I do not wish to complain just for the sake of complaining at all, those people annoy me as well.

 

If i had a nice waterfalll to go swimming in and whatnot i damn straight would go..

And apparently throwin a fit cause i have been known to be in the shower for like an hour under my steamy hot water. But you know chickie if i could i would give you another +rep but i gotta spread the love some more..

It does no justice. Your annoying little words aren't going to change what other people do. Hate to burst your bubble but what you have to say bashing the way other people live isn't going to make people change the way they live. Not everyone is perfect..
If your going to talk about wasting energy, water and resources then build you a hut out in the woods, no electricity, no running water, no internet nothing.. Then you can preach all you want.

 

are you guys really arguing that wasting water and energy is okay because it probably won't effect you personally? i'm sure your children and grandchildren will appreciate that.

Hes coming in here and preaching to me because i have taken an hour long shower which i don't even do it much i was simply stating the pleasures of it. Its not like i do it everyday.

People that are so ignorant or selfish about their luxury truly disgust me. It suprises me that some appear to be not aware or just do not care about the consequences of (mis)using so much water, especially on these forums. That's why I thought I'd post in this thread.

What about the recources for your cell phone? Batteries and such?
What about the WASTED ENERGY YOU USE to run your computer?

That is stuff that is NOT NECESSARY in day to day life.. but you know ironically you still waste energy and use it anyway. So go preach where what you say matters.

So looks like you should be disgusted with yourself.. you still use up energy in your luxury also.
