That sounds like a blast! Camping is great fun and usually even adults are able to kick back and enjoy the time. Kids, water, fires and smores, they will be happy!
Yes, it is hot! I put the air on yesterday so that everyone could sleep. I always find if you can sleep then the heat is great. Now see BBAD if not for the heat, then no nice little bodies in those swim suits, keep those priorities straight!
Hitched to the beach at 9am yesterday, got a lift with a 25 year old girl from Brittany that gave me her number Went for a 2 hour swim then some friends turned up and I got a really good Irish tan...and by that I mean sun burned Lovely day again today but a bit cloudy and windier.
Wow, 40 is extremely hot! Rather difficult to keep cool when it is that high. Do you get humidity with it or is it dry heat?
Today hot and humid But when the wind changes direction tomorrow (coming right off the north atlantic) the temps will drop 25 F to a high of 65 F Hotwater
Yeah it was last time we tried it. They slept the whole night after the campfire in the tent in their sleeping bags. It was amazing!! and me and my man got time to ourselves for once after theyw ent to bed. I love it. It smelled fresh, we got to eat under teh stars. not much better than t hat.
Well that was a good day then! You also got a number so I would think that would be a pleasing thing to get! I always burn and look like a lobster. So I can sympathies with the red look! It is lovely here and very hot. I am glad though as I love this type of weather.
Some of my fondest memories of childhood were of camping and today we still talk about them. Your kids will do the same someday I am sure. Grown up time is a good thing too, recharge your batteries before the next round of mischief.
That is a drop for sure. I am not sure about where you are but around here we have had the strangest weather patterns since the start of the winter. It has been very odd. Right now we desperately need rain. The farmers are planting and the dirt is flying as they work the fields. I have never seen this area so dry. Rather worrisome for wells.
I just found sand in my bellybutton too  Yeah she was sound out, had literally just moved from Brittany that day and was trying to find a job at the hotel there, she had dreads down to her ass though so no way would the hotel hire her. Proper poncy job place that is. I have the outline of a book burned into my stomach from reading yesterday too
Now the trick is going to be to get an all over even tan! Good job though that the book was not in Braille, that would of been a spotty mess. As far as the sand, well a little shake should remove most of it. Sand is great unless it sticks where it is not wanted!
Overnight we’re expecting a backdoor cold-front to sweep in from the northeast which will change the wind direction from the southwest to the northeast. This is the death-neel for any lasting hot weather with the ocean temps still in the low 50s. 50s are still better than the mid 30s we experience for much of the winter. In regard to the rain we're like 10 inches above average Hotwater
We have had about 50% less rain accumulation so far this year. I have been in and around this area my whole life and have never seen the water ways so low. I may have to do a rain dance, then the locals may kill me or at the very least relocate me.
With flooding rains all spring; I’d guess the Micmac's (the local native american tribe) are all danced out Hotwater
