What police problem is that, the one where they come round your house and bust the door down at 5am for growing plants to help with your MS condition?

 

Exactly, I know plenty people that would support them in that. Unfortunately.

 

i don't get how those who usually support western wars and take the unavoidable deaths of innocent civilians, and the unlawful destruction of their properties, as a grim price that needs to be paid , then can be so touchy about the destruction of their own properties during periods like this. if you justify violence and condone your bombing over someone else in some raghead country you should at least show the good taste to keep your mouths shut when someone else , for some equally stupid lame ass reason, decides it's right time to burn down your fucking car and house.

^^this + what a lot of these businesses forget is the human cost in supplying them with the goods they sell. eg. I feel really sorry for the asian shop owners who have had their shops trashed, I like shopping there more than tesco (although I do shop at tesco more because they are cheaper) but the asian shop owners are always friendly and helpful.

But they sell cigarettes, don't they. And they are about the most unethical thing you can trade in.

Great idea that, that'll certainly stop them thieving.

They'll have to get a job then, and of course employers will be queueing up to take them on.

 

a peaceful revolution of say , 10,000 years ago , would be of a peaceful people who could split off and just head north , north , north until people quit following them .


this one would be the sort of revo that's never been before .

I stopped watching Last of the Summer wine, once they all died and were replaced It was Sunday evening telly with my dad.

These bloody riots are bloody pissing me off.

My friend told me about that petition, and wanted us to sign it. I like the idea of stopping their money, but after seeing what they can do, don't really think taking their money away will do much good. Just another excuse to cause more destruction to innocent people.

Exactly. It's another knee-jerk response from the authorities/people based on prejudice and lack of understanding. there is no compassion in society anymore, which is partly the reason why this is happening.
