If only... It's not the civil unrest I asked for, I know that. This is the uneducated youth lashing out, unfortunately. With all their indiscriminate contempt and greed.

Uh oh... Explosions heard at the recycling plant in Tottenham!

    Yeahh....

Burn a cop car, or 50, I could care less. Burn one persons car, I have no respect for ANY of the rioters, who didn't stand against that.

Burn a police station, I could care less. Burn or loot ONE small business or residence, etc, I have no respect for any of the rioters, for failing to stand up against it.

If you let people who just want to break things take part in your movement to fix the broken things, your whole movement loses meaning and just becomes a mob, vulnerable to mob psychology, sensless violence, and theft. Isn't that what they claim to be rioting against?

If you must burn a car, make sure it's the right guys car. And woe is you if it's my car.

I can't say as I agree with all of this. Smashing the banks and big corp chains, yes. Making the good local peple suffer, no.

But still, you reap what you sow. If these people had looked around them and gave a shit about other people then this probably wouldn't be happening. It's a rude wake-up call for some people. Thing is, I can't see many positive results coming out of this, not now.

It may have sounded like I have been supporting this, maybe at one point I was, before it got out of hand and senseless. I am neither for nor against it, really. Part of me knew it would happen when I looked at society, knew it needed to happen. Really I was just trying to make the point that you can't solely blame those that did this, they were made that way by their environment, by decades of nobody actually giving a shit what goes on in those council estates. I feel sorry for them only having chaos as a voice and the fact that they don't even realise they could have stormed the houses of parliament and sorted the whole country out, probably gaining support for doing so.

Among those prosecuted so far, as well as some "good people" I referred to before, is someone who was in the process of joining the army! Makes you wonder...

Several young people have been on film complaining of "no respect for the youth", "no trust in the government after Iraq" and "no future for us, they're rich and we're poor and that's how it will stay" things like that.

It has turned into a pure angry statement by the great unwashed, it would seem. Nobody with a brain is trying to latch onto this movement or give it direction, they wouldn't want to lose respect in representing the events that have occured, methinks.

They just don't understand and they probably never will. In their minds, this is the only way they can help themselves out of the shit. They're probably wrong.

Those explosions in Tottenham have been attributed to a "waste storage and recyling facility", a "vehicle yard" and now a "diesel depot"!!!!! I hope it's not all three!

And for some stupid reason they've lifted the police cordon on Manchester city centre and opened it up again... Fools. They need to keep that shit locked down, watch the "youths" (lol @ calling the rioters youths all the time) come back and start all over again!

    Youth is an easy scapegoat.

It's just because of fucking young people, everything..... always has been, always will be. Ever since hammurabi and his code, youth are foolish enough to say what they think, and have little enough credibility that you can blame everything on them. Like me.

It makes it sound like respectable people who know how the world works don't share those sentiments, and it's just a few hormonal teens, nothing to worry about.... meanwhile they go charge those teens with terrorism or whatever :sunny:
