    Rednecks here tend to use the term "my old lady" or "my old man"... Coincidentally enough "my old man" can also refer to somebody's father.

    I dont know what half those words mean so I'll assume the first like half are from scotland. :D

    pop = soda.. IE are you thirsty? do you want a pop? ( i know ppl hate that, but im midwestern dammit)

    float trip = going to the river/creek and float down it in a canoe (make a day of it)

    Heres an indian slang for you.
    A new one, this is one we saw when we went around 4 weeks ago.

    'pani maro' to chuck water. Pani being water. Maro being kill.

    And you can substitute this into anything really.

    Signature, left turn. etc. etc.

    I think I've watched too much Jeremy Kyle since I actually recognized most of them. :p Northeners talk funny.

    Yeah, most of them are from the North. Funnily enough, there are probably at least a thousand more slang words from the region. Somebody gave me a little book on Geordie slang alone.
