I hear you. I lean both ways on the fence here because it is obviously a difficult notion to decide anything, when it is so very final. I find that no matter how old any human being is, we are trying everything for the first time in our lives, and we are kind of bumbling around blind until the next experience. Therefore, how can we, as a people, choose a decision like this? What is right/wrong? Ive realized there is no right/wrong anymore, except for what is deep in my gut. And that is to not kill.
Shit, was it not Tim Leary himself who wanted to broadcast his suicide. How many people on these forums likely would have watched it.
yeah, he just sounds like a foreign person...try posting in serbo-croatian if you are english and see how you like the grammar slags. but S, what's the ratio of polite:rude people on this thread? we'll have to see what the poll says. it's pretty fucking rude to watch a suicide - but that's just my opinion
but something saying they want to watch a suicide, may be contraversal, but its not directing rude comments at people. and it is on the topic of the thread. also this is a free speech forum, it is not against the rules to post this and if people feel disturbed by this subject matter, they shouldn't read it S
Wow, maybe i'm not so ill. I guess i can leave it at "thats fucked up" because i think most points have been expressed well, but i must say, to those who said yes, i hope you can realize how bad that sort of 'entertainment' is for you personally.
if anyone thinks it could be entertaining they should go and spend time and help care for people that are terminally ill, when faced with the reality of death it looses its enterment value pretty quickly S
I voted no, as a cancer survivor and as someone doing it again, if I choose to end my life how I see fit, I would just do so.......no fuss, no muss. I would not want others to see it as I would end it for dignity for me, there is no dignity on the net.
If you guys want to see a live suicide, type in Budd Dwyer into youtube. It freaked me out. Weirdest thing I've seen.
