I've had the same thoughts. We have an old summerhouse but no one lives there. I've always said to my family that I'm gonna live there, and it's almost like living in the forest because the house is about 200 years old, but we have fixed it.. no water and electricity though. So, ur plan hippe_1986 sounds nice My folks think I'm crazy too. What if you could collect a bunch of happy people and then live together, wouldn't that be great?
Your English is quite good enough. And you aren't crazy if you have the knowhow. What do you mean by "live in the woods"? That can mean anything from living in a modern cabin with a four-wheel drive vehicle to camping to NIW (Naked Into the Wilderness). Very different experiences, equipment, skillsets, and skill levels are involved. If you have to go to town for supplies, it really changes things. NIW isn't necessarily literal: It means here that you have very light backpack loads and don't have to go into town.
