3 I do not "belong," exclusively, to any religion, but I have always made a conscious effort to accept any sincere invitation to any of my friends' religious services. As a result, I have been to several Catholic Masses, and services in at least half a dozen types of Protestant churches and numerous Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist temples.

4 I dream of walking (and sailing) around the world.

5 I know I do some things as well as anyone, but I don't know how I know how to do them.

6 I want to know why Cher or Madonna are more famous than Lisa Gerrard or Michael Hedges.

7 I am writing a book, it is taking a very long time.

1. My name's Alaina.
2. I play the flute and not very well.
3. All of my best friends have druggie nicknames. (me=trip, calah=shroomy, hannah=crank, ryann=hype, allison=kif) And it's hard to address them by their real names when we're around adults.
