sure why not, there is always a true reason why a lie is given instead of honest answer. it is manifested in honesty to save your ass in reality.
my old man always taught me that if you lie to impress others, you're pathetic and just have nothing real to show that's worth while. i always strive to tell the truth when i can. i only really lie when i have to. that being said, i'm not gonna be blunt to someone and hurt their feelings. like if an ugly girl asks me if she's pretty, of course she is. lol. i try not to do that a whole lot though, because people can sorta pick up on ungenuine compliments and the real ones lose their oomph when you do that a lot. everyone lies on the internet. it's sad that so many people need to make everyone believe they're something they're not to feel good about themselves. family is the most important thing. then friends. so i'd say, unless you have a really good reason to do it, lying to either is kinda low.
I totally agree with this statement. Plus it's really hard to keep track of lies when you smoke a lot of bud.
The majority of people are fake, I have no problem being considered pathetic with nothing real to share with people. The bottom line is I am honest with myself.
Yes, I consider myself honest. I lie to others more. A white lie is good, all others are bad. E.g. if someone asks you how you are, 'fine' will sufice, even if it's not true. It's easier, fo'shure, whether it's more acceptable, I don't know. I think it depends on what you're lying about. E.g. to my friends I'd lie about different things, to my family different things and on the internet I don't generally see the point in lying but I'm sure I've exaggerated points before. That's human nature. I mean, there are things I can say here that I would tell no one I really know, basically because I don't get judged so much here. IRL, if it means lying, then yeah, I'll do it because I don't want the BS that comes from not doing it. I hope that made sense. SCREW YOU! My family really ARE all Ninjas and we've saved the Earth so many times from definite destruction! And then this is the thanks we get....
I don't understand the thing about lying to yourself. I mean in my case everything that you learn gets put directly into your subconcious, and trying to think that something you learned isn't true is just doesn't make sense. My brain is just purely logical and there is no point in trying to disprove the truth. And yeah i don't like admitting it but sometimes i have small lies but i try telling the truth every time i get the chance.
It's natural for people to fill in the blanks, when they don't know something. Some, as their consciousness and understanding strengthen, drop this trait. Others need to unlearn it.
i remember when i was a kid i used to lie about so many things. i even lied about my name. But with time this stoped. now i think i am way to honest about things. most people don`t really like this. i guess they prefer to hear a pleasant lie, than to face the harsh reality of the truth.
i've never said a true statement in my life. except that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one. and that one.
I'm painfully honest and really suck at lying. Although sometimes I have to do the little white lie thing, you know, when you don't want to hurt someone's feelings.
I'm pretty honest. I probably lie to myself more, though I try to do neither. Sure some lies are better than others. It all depends on the need/want to lie.
