Of course I have a thing for beautiful young men - but beyond the obvious sexual thing, I think it is more an appreciation of youth. (I actually have grandsons who are 17 and 20)

Love the new beard, Spaced. Not yet a full growth but indicative of a young man. And, altho I remember them as a bane, even zits are attractive on a young man's face as they too are indicators of his youthful virility.

umm shale...no offence man.. but thats bordering on creepy.. i have no problem with ya liking guys or anything but when ya start talking about liking guys the age of your grandsons and liking zits because they represent youth.. that really is borderline

 

Don't want to take it off topic, but everyone always says "age is just a number" and crap like that. Yeah, my bod is old, but somehow I did not disconnect my love of youth with the reality of my own age.

There was another thread here about age difference, where the kids (20 somethings) were talking about old ppl (30 - 40 somethings) just a decade or two different.

So, yes by that standard the fact that I have made out recently with a 20-year-old (a 40-year age spread) would be kinda creepy. But, there are some bent young men who like us old farts, so who am I to disappoint them. I don't actively go out looking for guys my grandson's age to have sex with but if I come across one whom I hit it off with, then it is just two adults.

Now that was a ref to sexuality. The ref to the zits was just a ref to those tell-tale marks of youth like scraggly new beards and too much hair on their heads. We all went thru that phase and perhaps did not appreciate the beauty of it at the time.

Well, thank you for your opinion on how I should express myself. Now I know that I am more candid and out there than a lot of folks. Been that way since the late '60s when I fell in with a bunch of free-luvin' dope-smokin' Hippies.

I hope theyoung man I indicated was very attractive doesn't go off questioning his sexuality because he is noticed by an old man who has been comfortable with his own sexuality since before the young man's mother was born. With his style and the fact that he is on this forum board, I suspect he will take it as a compliment and nothing more.

I hang out nude on the beach. I make love to men or women. While I don't do dope anymore I did extensively years ago. I've had sex with other races, second cousins (both male and female) with women 20 years older than me and with men 40 years younger than me.

I doubt that I will be running for public office so I guess it is a little late to be concerned about the impression I put out there.

As for my grandsons, yes I do notice their beauty too. Doesn't mean I want to have sex with them. I have been traveling the U.S. and Caribbean with my youngest grandson since he was 13. He is now 17 and a handsome young man, sprouting his chin whiskers of which he is quite proud.

I think the fact that I can see this beauty and admit it to myself may be one of cultural difference. Most ppl, especially in America seem to be hung up in a culture of puritanical propriety, whereas I have been for years advocating open expression. Y'know, "Tell it like it is."
