Some twisting and rocking always does it for me! Songs like Chuck Berry - You never can tell and Bo Diddley's Who do you love gets me going everytime :D

Also some upbeat psytrance and electronic dance can be ok. Anybody knows the album Skeewiff - Private funktion? You dance fanatics have to check it out!
Of course I can also let my soul float and so let my body move on classic jam blues and psych rock for hours, from Gypsy eyes to Take it as it comes to Whole lotta love to Magic carpet ride to Spoonful and so on ;)
And last but not least, some of the most ideal party and dance music is surf rock! Try to sit still on songs like Revellion and Comanche by the Revels, Toes to the noes by Eddie & the Showmen, Ft. Lauderdale by the Impacts, Let's go surfing by Jim Waller & the Deltas or of course the mighty Misirlou by Dick Dale and his Deltones!

I started a thread like this a long time ago....Im glad to see someone else with the boogie itch like me!!!!

I just have to dance to Country Joe and the Fish (and im listening tho them right now), Jefferson Airplane, Sly Stone and Jame Brown.....mm...mmm

a friend of mine and I came up with a saying that we use all the time.....Drop The Boogie...as in, "Damn, this band is soooo great....they're droppin the boogie!" Or "Girl, we going out tonight? Cause I gotta drop the boogie".

    Drop it like its hot
