No thankfully I didn't have to as I am in town where it was safer.

Me and my roommate when into the woods to check on a friends house and to water his plants heheheh.

Hardly can see, black ash is falling, we should not be here we say, and a damn helicopter with a bucket flys right over us and dumps water hundred feet in front of us.

That night was fucking insane...

But people would not let anything burn... some stayed at there home and told other to fuck off I aint leaving, some of those homes where saved from the owners, others were not so lucky.

 

I was close yet far from the last fires that were here a couple months ago..it was trippy to be driving and see plumes of smoke...felt like the apocalypse

i just trimmed my beard nice and short

gets too itchy when its long

 

just laid some new carpet in the hall.. nothing major, just a tear out and replacement.. dont need to be perfect cause Ive not painted in that hall.. but its all one color now..

 

im going to try and grow a beard. i was starting to have one and then i shaved it for some reason.

i've never been able to actually grow a beard, but its starting to get thick enough i think it could be decent if i never shaved

I am fortunate that naturally I am not a very hairy person ...

 

but my brother esau is a hairy man while I have smooth skin..

 

If I have no power I also have no water... Well runs out of pressure in just a few minutes and can't bring anymore up. No generator either... I'd like a solar system to run that.


Forest fires suck, used to be a big threat every year when I was 40 miles from Yosemite. Glad everyone is safe.
