and her body shriveled.A giant plastic wrap came down out of the sky and engulfed her,wrapping her in an airtight seal from head to foot.Could it be?Was it possible?Yes,she was a Slim Jim Stick.She was surrounded by millions of Slim Jims."Yuck",Sally Sally belched as she ate the rest of the shrooms.She stared down at the penguin"I thought you were dead.Didn't I just see you spontaneously combust?"The penguin,now very angry,got up,dusted himself off replied

 

" You fool you pushed me in the fire pit over there and i was rolling iin the dirt to stop the burning! Whats wrong with you?! You just watched!"
Sally started to giggle. " Sorry i was in my own world. I can't stop laughing. HA HA haha."

 

Ha hahaha"replied the penguin in spontanious laughter,"think I got a contact high."He reached down,grabbed a Slim Jim and slowly started to peel it open.
"Wait,don't eat that!"
"Why not?"
"I don't know,Sally replied,"somehow I fell like I have a spiritual connection."
At that polnt the Slim Jim jumped out of the penguins hands,which wasn't hard cause penguins don't really have hands,anyways it jumped out of the penguins hands,ran up to Sally,actually it slithered up to Sally,you see Slim Jims don't have legs,anyways it slithered up to Sally,in a snake like manner I might add,and hissed at her just like a snake,well not just like a snake cause Slim Jims don't have the forked tongue like a snake so actually it hissed at Sally just like a Slim Jim if you know what I mean and I think you do at least in a round about way.
This scared Sally to the point that she promptly...

 

jumped up and ran into the trees behind her. She tripped over a large tree root and fell down. Her foot was stuck in the tangled roots and the slim jim was slowly heading her way. Then she heard a flute in the distance.

"It sounds so familiar..."She thought out loud. It was Jethro Tull to her service.

 

Ian Anderson's flute put the slim jim into a deep trance and Sally said to Anderson, "

 

" Why do it?"
" because i can!" said anderson and danced away into the night

 

"Wait!"called Sally hopelessly,"How does it feel to be...well to be...thick as a brick?"
"Stop it,you're embarrassing yourself"
Sally looked down,the penguin was still there.He had a flute in his back pocket.
"Did you steal that?"
"Umm,NO!"
"Then just where did you get it?Sally scorned.
"Well Ian kinda dropped it when he went off on his dance."
"...and you didn't say anything?,if we hurry I think we can still catch him."
Sally and the penguin went off to follow Ian's tracks,which was rather dificult seeings how he was dancing on his tiptoes and all.They soon met back up with Enlightenment,whom after giving up all hopes of finding Truth had kinda wondered off and gotten lost once again."Man,am I glad to see you guys,he sputtered,"you wouldn't believe what happened just down the road aways...

 

" We have no time for that now enlightenment" sally interrupted " We have to follow ian to give him his flute back!"
"Whose ian?" enlightenment said
"You dont know ian?!" Penguin laughed

That's what I was trying to tell you"quirped Enlightenment"I seen this guy dancing down the road and at the same time he was fumbling in his bag ,he kept mumbling something about a missing flute." Enlightenment looked down at the penguin suspisiously."Then he just danced off the side of steep ledge screaming at the top of his lungs all the way down."
"Well, what was he yelling?''Sally inquired.
"I'm not sure,something about cross eyed Mary and what he would do to a certain wingless bird if he ever caught up with him again."
"What's that?" Sally asked.

 

"Whats what?"
"Whats a wingless bird?"
"A bird that has no wings"

"I have wings,the penguin protested.
"But you can't fly"

"See I knew you couldn't fly."
At fhis the penguin ran off at breakneck speed.He ran up to the same ledge that Ian danced off of and just before going over he came to an abrupt stop.
"I knew you couldn't fly,Sally chided.
The penguin paid her no attention something stirring down below in the bushes had caught his eye.
"Shhh"the penguin whispered as he slowly backed away from the ledge.
"What is it?asked Sally in a squeaky voice.
Enlightenment,who in the meantime had scurried down the hill called back"Why it's...

 

"Our old friend almighty John! Hi John!" Enlightenment called
"Hey John" They chorused
"Oh Hello" Said John
"John you fool what are you doing in the bush?" Sally asked
"Um....errr....I was....umm"
"Who is that running off from the bush john?" Penguin giggled
"It was my friend...um...."
"Who? And what where you doing?" Enlightenment said

...before he could answer a figure approached him and took hold of his hand.It was the runner.
"Truth?Whats going on here?"It was Enlightenment,he had finally found his brother."Why you never told me...you lied to me.Well,I guess it's about time the truth came out.No pun intended."
"Never mind that,we have to find Ian"Sally reminded him."Hey did you guys see anybody dancing by here recently?"
No,said John,face turning red,"We were kinda busy.There was a guy who flew off that ledge though,landed right over there.He looked over at us and ran off that way mumbling something.Now just what was he mumbling?Oh yeah.Something about killing a pen gun or maybe killing a penguin.Yes that was it he was going to kill some penguin and fry his liver in peanut butter.if it was the last thing he ever did.Sounded like he meant it to."
"I like peanut butter."Sally replied.
The penguin didn't say anything,he just stood there.There was a puddle of water forming around his feet.Finally with knees wobbling he turned and started off in the opposite direction.

 

"Damn that penguin" Sally said "How will we give ian his flute now!"
"Looks like you'll have to go after that penguin" John said
"OK.Come on enlightenment lets go!" Sally said joyfully
"No im going to stay here with truth and john. My quest is over sally, but yours is only just beginning!" enlightenment said with a smile
" Goodbye everyone!" Sally said and she skipped off into the horison to find the penguin, alone.

 

it was early morning when she stopped for a rest. She had skipped through the forest all night singing to herself.
She sat down on a fallen tree and closed her eyes. She listened to the wind whistle through the pine trees. Then she heard a soft crying. She looked behind her to see a child leaning against a tree hugging her knees.
" why are you crying? Are you lost?" Sally asked gently.
"i am crying because my heart hurts." Replied the child looking up with tears rolling down her face.
" Why does it hurt?" Sally asked coming to sit down with the small child.

A look of puzzlement settled across Sally's face.
"What's your name" she asked.
"Ginny" the girl replied.
"How old are you?"
Ginny held up 9 fingers.
"Well ginny, do you want to help me find a stolen flute?"
