well, rural kids for starters... that cartoon is pretty accurate. i've never seen a kid with a lemonade stand that i didn't feel sorry for because of the lack of business. granted, most never stand a chance in the first place because they usually are set up on a side street with no traffic. but no matter what or where, i always end up seeing a little kid desperately waving at every car, only to be ignored 99% of the time. i usually try to stop if i have the time and money, just out of pity. and it seems like about half the time, mom will come out to thank me for being the only customer and refuse payment anyway.

Same here, I still remember that day, the temperature was in the upper 90s so we figured we’d make a killing at 10 cents a shot. I was either in the Wolf or the Bear Scouts because I remember I was wearing my uniform. Hotwater
