Back to Hong Kong experiences ! - the nightlife could be rated from tamish to terrific depending on who you knew and how much dosh you had! There were places that were secreted away in tall buildings where a tap on the door - a sliding spy window and a conversation in cantonese where the things that got you inside - without a local 'road' map you were doomed to failure. Once inside this smoky den and your eyes had adjusted to the gloom the jewels were displayed! this was the night life of HK that most tourists never saw
