    Aaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhh!!!!
Is this how dumb the generation of dope growers are???? F*ck me!!!
Wild cannabis natural state is plants 17 - 20 ft tall. They grow at the side of the road in parts of North Africa, South Africa, Vietnam, Thailand (hills) and more places I can't be bothered typing. In Australia and Northern NZ 15 ft plus outdoor plants are pretty much normal for any experienced grower.

I have been busted (and went to prison) for cannabis plantations several times. It totally depends on the strain and how pure it is. You kids are used to inbred skunk which is Afghani and Paki cross baby crap. Any pure Thai, Indonesian or Highland Mexican is capable of growing well over 20 ft. There is meant to be a North Africa strain that will reach 30 ft but I've only seen photos and it was hard to tell in them how tall the plants really were.

There are plenty of giant strains out there if you can find the seed. Columbian Gold (NOT Cambodian Gold duh... they don't name dope in Cambodia... it all blows your brains out) is a legendary 20 ft strain that is probably now extinct. I had it pure but the cops got my seeds.

The biggest strains I've personally grown are ALWAYS pure Thailand. They average 15 ft and are really only restricted by the length of the summer. There are Thai strains that are reported to grow as Perennials and reach huge heights. High Times Magazine has featured pictures of plants in Hawaiai that were well over twenty feet.

Clarke in his book Cannabis Botany or Marijuana Botany or whatever it is, goes on and on about the giant Thai plants. The Cannabis Bible or one of those books (can't remember Cops got all my books) has crisp colour photos of HEAPS of plants and plantations full of 20 ft plants. It also has a picture of a Mexican plant that yielded 15 pound of pure bud. It is shown in a full colour photo in full bud.

There is an old book called "WEED" currently out of print that is about the 1970's Mexican Cannabis Industry. It shows entire valleys and hillsides covered in plants that start at twelve feet minimum and go up to ridiculous heights. The book also shows thousands of bales of cannabis being baled in huge balers.

Even the messed up strain "HAZE" and "ORIGINAL HAZE" from seedbanks will normally reach fifteen feet if the summer is long enough. You have to understand that any pure sativa naturally grows into a small tree outdoors and does not flower until it gets 12/12 photo period. If it's at a latitude with a nine month summer and plenty of rain (Thailand, Indonesia etc) then it just keeps growing up.

A normal wild sativa without any special techniques or special fertiliser can have the first "true" leaves at head height and a stem at least as thick as a large man's wrist. There used to be plenty of pictures og giant plants on the internet but the Cops block them and the skunk industry has taken over. Old time growers laugh at the new boys. We can get more dope off ONE big tree in the bush than you guys get off a whole room and we have no power bills. On the downside it takes us nine months to do a big plantation but you can do it in three months.

On the upside, very few "new age" people realise how big dope grows (as is fukn obvious from this thread) and they don't recognise it once it gets lanky and really tall. So you can sometimes get away with growing a few plants in a public park or in your backyard. Once the leaves yellow off on a big sativa it's very hard to tell it's a dope plant because it's just all long lanky buds.

You don't have to believe me. Just get some pure sativa seeds instead of skunk and put them in the ground outside then see for yourselves instead of talking the biggest load of rubbish I've ever seen. Talk about not out of diapers yet.

If you can't get pure sativa from a seedbank then get HAZE and NEVER ever cross it with skunk no matter what anybody tells you. The more pure a sativa strain is then the tougher it is, the more disease resistant it is, the bigger it grows and NO CANNABIS FROM ANY SEEDBANK HAS EVER BEEN MORE POTENT THAN PURE HIGHLAND THAI!!! Most wild Cambodian, Vietnamese or Indonesian weed at the side of the road is stronger than any skunk. Ask any Vietnam Vet.

Think tropical! Duh! Tropical plants are always huge. Giant leaves and flowers as well. The same applies to dope. The tropical strains (Brazil is another) of weed are huge is they get enough water and a long enough summer.

Try it. Grow it. See for yourselves.

There are also mutant giant strains that are supposed to be naturally occurring tetraploids. If you know anything at all about Giant Pumpkin competitions then you would know that you need "special" giant pumpkin seed. No matter what you do you can't grow an ordinary pumpkin into a giant one. Dope is exactly the same. There are giant strains out of Africa and there are genetically modified strains as well that have plants treated with colchicine to produce tetraploids. These are almost always giant plants.

You shouldn't go telling people such an absolute load of rubbish. If you don't know what you're talking about then just don't say anything. Before skunk took over the world there was far more strains that grew over 15 ft than under it. Only a few of the Chitral and Kush strains out of Pakistan were small. Even the original Afghani (before the Dutch messed it up) was a big plant in the 70's. It's not even a sativa.

When I was in South Africa lots of the friends of people I was staying with had almost competitions going on to who could grow the most ridiculously sized weed plants in their gardens... All the plants were easily over 15ft, proper big bushes and a really heavenly smoke.. There were obviously smaller trimmed plants growing but most people with a bit of land had these giant things about...

someone was telling me that they saw a plant on an Indian reservation that was like 15 feet high and 20 feet long.

They also said it had almost no THC content.

I'm so glad I get to go to Thailand this winter.

gonna get some nice thai seeds :cheers2:

I personally have grown 5 foot plants indoors.
I personally have seen several 8 foot plants in a friends outdoor crop.

and in high times magazine i have seen plants appearing to be 10-12 feet high. (marijuana and hemp)

I see no reason why, close to the equator, you could not grow a 20ft or more plant outdoors all year. When in good conditions, they will skyrocket and grow treetrunk-like stems that are several inches in diameter
