German is my native tongue, I'm quite fluent at Englishand know enough French to get by in everyday-situations in France I guess. And a few sentences of Russian and Italian, but that's "holiday vocabulary" and I don't count it as "speaking a language".
Like many of you, I would sooo love to learn more languages, but it takes a lot of time and isn't cheap, unfortunately. If I ever get the possibility I would absolutely love to learn Arabic or Persian!

my native language is german, I'm fluent in english and I can express myself quite well in spanish and french...these three foreign languages I'm learning in school....
outside of school, I'm trying to teach myself a little Italian, Portugese, Hindi and Arabic...without much success in portugese and arabic yet, but because my mother is learning hindi in nightcourses, I know a good amount of words in hindi already and know some of the grammar...
she's also learning hebrew (like me she's a little obsessed with languages ;)) and she's taught me the alphabet, how to count and a couple of sentences....

I really wnat to learn these others properly and then I'll go on with russian, gaelic, magyar and swedish... and I guess that'll keep me busy for the rest of my life :)

@irish hippy: can you maybe teach me some grammar and word order of gaelic?? or tell me how to pronounce the words?
@tommyT: if you want to learn a foreign language, I'd say try spanish - sounds beautifully and is MUCH easier to learn than french or german for instance...

Haha - or maybe the palm don't like Keith or maybe the palm had an age-limit for people who wanna climb around in it. Maybe excactly that palm felt no mercy with people who act younger than their real age... ;)

No, honestly, I wouldn't be that cruel, if I didn't know that he was already better. Stones are playing in Horsens, Denmark soon. :)

    love,
